he was still $h!t. I thought his song was so bad. Jade was great though, well done her!! She deserves as much success as possible.

God the way they were saying Alex was the biggest song ever on eurovision is a pile of crap, maybe the most votes, because more countries are voting, but it will never be one of the biggest eurovision sellers. crud.

 

Eurovision isn't about selling records, it's about representing your country and doing your best. The song was not my favourite, and I wasn't that interested by Alexander, but many people across Europe were, and voted for him in their droves. Which they are totally entitled to do. And if they want to buy it, cool. It's nice to have some proper European music in the charts, rather than US R&B $h!t :kink:

Yea but his entire performance was totally bland and so 90s. I really hope this fluke doesnt climb too high. Im not surprised people in the far parts of europe voted for it.

As much as I like many US R&B songs, I prefer the Eurovision taking over this time. :D

Anyway, it's not true. He had dinner with the head of the russian jury, but then he withdrew because of impartiality (he was also a friend of Sakis, the greek entry).

Everyone is of course entitled to their opinions. However the fact that the song you dislike so much won Eurovision with a runaway record score and has been rapidly climbing the European iTunes charts in the last 12 Hours suggests your opinion is a minority one.
