May 16, 200916 yr France: A bit old-fashioned, and quite 60s. Nothing against the 60s, just this time I don't like it. I'm sorry, but it was just too boring for me, and I don't even think I'll remember it, in about 3 songs time. 3.5/10
May 16, 200916 yr France: Patricia Kaas - S'il fallait le faire: Well this is very .... French with it's jazz like sound. I like it a fair amount, but I'm not sure this will go down great at Eurovision. Even though this has gone down well with the crowd. A well constructed tune, but I don't think the song's hook is nowhere near sharp enough. But a strong vocal performance from a successful French artist (15 million sales worldwide that is more than Girls Aloud have sold isn't it?) 7.5
May 16, 200916 yr 04. Sweden: The dress is awful. Waste of money. Gorgeous looking woman though, and not that bad actually! 7.5/10
May 16, 200916 yr I'm baffled as to why Malena is singing a song where she really can't cope very well with the lower breathy vocals, when she has such a magnificent top range. This is fine (better than her rehersals and the semi), but she could do much better with a more suitable song, I think.
May 16, 200916 yr Sweden: Malena Ernmann - La Voix: I loved the operatic intro before it changes into a Pet Shop Boys type of track with her more mediocre lower range vocals. At least the melody is very memorable, but personally I'm enjoying this track less each time I hear it. 7.5
May 16, 200916 yr f*** f*** f*** my internet has is $h!tting bricks. It really hates Sweden, which is a shame coz i love it. :(
May 16, 200916 yr I do love how France sent an artists who's sold millions of records for Eurovision About time yeah ! We've had pretty crap unknown entries for about a decade or so I guess, so I'm happy we're sending some talented and well established artists again ! And apparently she's quite famous in Russia and other Eastern countries, so it could help :P And on a side note, her mother died exactly 20 years ago, on a 16th of May, and until today she has NEVER sung again on that date ...
May 16, 200916 yr Sweden: Amazing! Absolutely amazing. Stronger vocals in the semi, but I love it. And, almost flawless. I didn't think opera could sound so funky, but it can! Hopefully Top 10 at least 10/10
May 16, 200916 yr Just got to say this is the first time in years I've switched to BBC1 - I normally have it on RTE! and Graham Norton is 10000000% better than that a**hole Wogan!
May 16, 200916 yr Just got to say this is the first time in years I've switched to BBC1 - I normally have it on RTE! and Graham Norton is 10000000% better than that a**hole Wogan! Indeed. He's been impressive so far. He's not waffled and actually been funny!
May 16, 200916 yr And on a side note, her mother died exactly 20 years ago, on a 16th of May, and until today she has NEVER sung again on that date ... Oh wow, I had no idea of that!
May 16, 200916 yr None of these songs are doing it for me so far. :( Still, there are 20 to go. I hope it improves...
