May 16, 200916 yr But that doesn't actually make her Swiss  It's a bloody strong connection tho. Just like living in a country from the age of 4. Technically i should be a German passport holder, but i've lived in Scotland since 3months old. Does that make me German or British?
May 16, 200916 yr On the conferance they said 18th, 20th and 22nd.. And I have b'day 26th :kink: Ooooooh I might be able to go :o

May 16, 200916 yr What the people don't get is that same area countries have also similar liking in music. For example a lot of eat european countries had songs inspired by folklore, which will appeal to the neighbour. I am not very keen on ballads like one of the UK or Iceland, but in the West a lot of people are. Different area, different taste. And if a song meet the taste of the most, it will win! Like Finland did, like Russia did (but only once!), like Serbia did. But it is easier to give the blame to politics instead of sending decent songs :teresa: .
May 16, 200916 yr Scottish??? My BF was born in Australia - but moved back here when he was a year old. What is he? :kink:
May 16, 200916 yr Ooooooh I might be able to go :o I asked my mom for tickets for ESC to my b'day :w00t:
May 16, 200916 yr Political = block LOL All the former Soviet/Yugoslavian countries voting for each other etc.. Also, are you telling me Denmark, Finland + Sweden's 12's for Norway = coincidence? :/ Did you read RabbitFurCoat's post here?! If not i'll repeat - a certain group of countries have simular taste, that other countries generally don't fit in... Why the f*** UK (for example) should give Croatia 12 points?!? Of course they will give points to others, that more often appear on their charts etc... :manson: GOD. Did you know Fairytale is topping the Swedish, Finnish and Danish iTunes' charts? NO.
May 16, 200916 yr Scottish??? NEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My parents are English, so i default as English as opposed to Scottish. Unless of course, you are offering me Money, in which case, of course i'm Scottish
May 16, 200916 yr My BF was born in Australia - but moved back here when he was a year old. May 16, 200916 yr I asked my mom for tickets for ESC to my b'day :w00t: I'm really really reall tempted to go to either MF or ESC. I really want to go to Norway/Sweden
May 16, 200916 yr Also, are you telling me Denmark, Finland + Sweden's 12's for Norway = coincidence? :/ Are you for real? HOW many other countries in the competition gave Norway 12 points alongside those countries tonight?! Or indeed, some points at all?!
May 16, 200916 yr Yeah I found him really entertaining. I know It shouldn't, but his remark about Germany and them having a "rally" behind the presenter made me LOL. Yeah Graham was really funny! As legendary as Terry Wogan was, his jokes did start to get a bit stale these past few years. Hopefully Graham Norton will be back next year.
May 16, 200916 yr My BF was born in Australia - but moved back here when he was a year old. What is he? :kink: English Parents - English Aussie Parents - Aussie/English [age dependant] Although he could chose either.
May 16, 200916 yr Are you for real? HOW many other countries in the competition gave Norway 12 points alongside those countries tonight?! Or indeed, some points at all?! out of a possible 492 points, Norway got 389. Neighbourly voting does NOT get you a win that f***ing big
May 16, 200916 yr I'm really really reall tempted to go to either MF or ESC. I really want to go to Norway/Sweden Go to Eurovision, we'll have a big Buzzjack meet-up :kink: MF might not even be connected to Eurvosion next year... :o
May 16, 200916 yr Interstingly, but i think every country has given Norway at least a point  I'm sure there was one or 2 Nil points.
May 16, 200916 yr Go to Eurovision, we'll have a big Buzzjack meet-up :kink: MF might not even be connected to Eurvosion next year... :o ESC it is :cheer: Now, to learn Norwegian........
May 16, 200916 yr Interstingly, but i think every country has given Norway at least a point  As far as I can remember only one country didn't vote for the winner, and that was Norway! But yes, it was all down to political/bloc/neighbourly voting...
