Posted May 17, 200916 yr Can Dizzee Rascal and Armand Van Helden both score their second No1's next week? You Don't Know Me stormed to the top in February 1999 for Armand while Dizzee spent a month at the top last July with Dance Wiv Me. Dizzee Rascal also featured on the Band Aid 20 charity single Do They Know It's Christmas? No1 December 2004 and it was Armand's remix of Professional Widow that took Tori Amos to No1 in January 1997. Or will it be a second week at the top for the Black Eyed Peas? Their previous No1 Where Is The Love hogged the top spot for six weeks; can Boom Boom Pow really just be a one week No1? The other burning question is which Eurovision single will chart higher: Our excellent Jade Ewen's It's My Time or Norwegian winner Alexander Rybak's Fairytale? Edited May 18, 200916 yr by Ethan.
May 17, 200916 yr Difficult questions: I say number 1 for Black Eyed Peas and Jade will be higher (because she will have some physicals next week too).
May 17, 200916 yr Can Can Dizzee Rascal and Armand Van Helden both score their second No1’s next week? Wow, I never knew Dizzee was so multi talented. Just one question though.. where can I see his skirt-lifting high-kicking performance on stage? I'm rather intriuged.. Edited May 17, 200916 yr by anxresi
May 17, 200916 yr I think Jade will be higher. Even though I haven't heard either song, I'm guessing the UK would rather support its own entry and seeing as Jade did so well, it's bound to do pretty well chart-wise, surely? I'm sure the Norwegian entry will tail off in the week, even though it's higher on iTunes at the moment. And as Ben said, Jade will have physical sales too... As for the 1st question, I really don't know! Tough call, but I went for Dizzee. I absolutely adore both songs and I want Dizzee to get #1 next week, as BEPs will have already had one week, but who knows? :(
May 17, 200916 yr Dizzee number one, BEPs will have already had theirs... Jade will he higher. Eurovision fans often collect physical releases, so there will be a good few thousand bought, and we will be supporting our own entry. Ideally Jade should be top 10 and Alexander top 20 with Iceland top 40 and Ukraine top 75 :kink:
May 17, 200916 yr Alexander and Jade could both go top 10 this week, though I think it will be very close and Alex will just be ahead. Dizzee must surely be number one.
May 17, 200916 yr I'm sure Jade will make it into the top 20 though the lower end and Alexander will be top 30. I think his song was a lot better and tbh I'd put the Iceland and Malta ballads above Jade but she did do amazingly and sung perfectly and she should be so proud <33 I also don't want Rascal to get a no1. I think the song's OK, I just think it's not good enough be a no1. I'm going to say BEPs anyway.
May 17, 200916 yr Boom Boom Pow and Bonkers are both crap, I couldn't care less who gets the #1 position, the music this year has been very chavtastic. The Iceland ballad stands out above the rest in my opinion
May 17, 200916 yr No. 1 next week - BEP - Boom Boom Pow Higher - Alex (by an inch) Edited May 17, 200916 yr by FunMaker11
May 17, 200916 yr Dizzee and Jade. :) I am the last person to ask the first Q though  But i just feel so. And Jade will be bigger than Alex anyway, because it's the UK :w00t:
May 17, 200916 yr Tbh, I don't see how Jade can end up higher than Alex at the rate the letter is going at, even if Jade has physicals, and even if Alex will no doubt trail a bit later this week.
May 17, 200916 yr Black Eyed Peas Alexander I'm actually really starting to like Alexander's song now, but I want Jade higher. :nocheer: Edited May 17, 200916 yr by Aidan
