A few Non-Uk, non-winning entries made the lower end of my charts during the 70's in most years, but virtually none after that until about 10 years back when more and more started to impact as I bought the cd's and got to hear them more than once... 1972: Beg Steal Or Borrow (New Seekers) No.1 (Vicky Leandros Top 20/Sandra & Andres Top 30) 1973: Power To All Our Friends (Cliff) No.14 (anne Marie David Top 10/ failed Cliff finalist song Tomorrow Rising No. 23) 1974: Waterloo (Abba) No.1, instant No.1, and everything they ever did charted thereafter, most of them No.1/Long Live Love (Olivia Newton John) No.29/ I See A Star (Mouth & Macneal No.8/ Go (Si) (gigliola Cinquetti) Top 10/Bye Bye I Love You (Irene Shears) - I think! - Top 30. I must have been harsh on it that year as I'd have definitely charted Safura's "Drip Drop" and Chanée & N'evergreen's "In A Moment Like This" over a lot of the ones that I charted in the other years. Sweden and Armenia were ok that year too, still my least favourite of the 5 though. I think I went overboard in 2008, but my chart was newer and it was the first year I paid attention to Eurovision. Most of the songs last between 1 and 5 weeks on my chart, but "Euphoria" has been a proper crossover hit with 9 weeks in the top 10 so far.
