Yeah, I agree. I would prefer 2 semi's personally. It makes things less predictable and interesting in the final.

none of the AQ's used to vote in the semi's.

 

You then had 10 people who hadn't heard the songs which used to push the results about a bit.

We used to have tiny semi's all the time. I loved how i never had to qualify from a semi because the two times i finished out of the top10 were followed by small contests :w00t:
