As far as the haters go, well people got every right not to like the show but if anyone tries to stir up trouble they'll be dealt with Sue Sylvester style.

I find the show extremely overrated personally. I can see the appeal in it though, and why people like it so much, but for me I find it an overrated pile of pish.

Fair enough, I'm not surprised considering the types of shows you watch Roo. At least SPN is back soon.

I can understand why some people wouldn't like it. But I don't like it when people are just like "THIS IS A HSM RIP OFF"... this means they obviously have not watched the show, or they have and are just ignorant.

Just to clarify, how can you see the appeal if you think it's a pile of pish? That could only make sense if you were implying the show's fans have low standards/will watch any old crap...

Anyone who claims it to be a HSM rip-off clearly is only judging it based on adverts or the first 10/20 minutes. They're not worth listening to if they have imperfect information...

I think Eastenders, Desperate Housewives, Ugly Betty etc. are rubbish, but it doesn't mean I can't see why the show appeals to people. In the same way people probably think 24, Lost, Supernatural are rubbish too. Each to their own. I just think Glee's pretty overrated personally. But it's not really the type of show i'd like anyway so...

It's wierd, the only show I don't like that you listed there is Eastenders. A person doesn't have to to like one genre over another, but maybe I'm just a TV whore :P

What did she say about it?

I was listening to the Radcliffe & Maconie show on Radio 2 when they do their daily caustic review of comments and things music related celebrities have said/are doing and they mentioned that Cheryl criticised the show in a Radio interview for the cover of "Don't Stop Believin'" saying it was not as good as Joe McElderry's version  and that Glee's practise of "saturating" the charts with the songs performed on the show that week was unfair stopping other acts making the charts (so nothing like when X-Factor contestants do bad cover versions of other acts songs, and the originals make the charts then). As they joked maybe she criticised the show because in a separate interview her nemesis Lily Allen praised the show and joked that it would be great if her and Elly (Le Roux) could get a part in one of the episodes as English exchange students......

Still maybe this is a factor as well:

That's a bit like saying South Park is a rip off of Tom & Jerry.

Cheryl Cole is a bit of an untalented bimbo so for her to critiicize anyone is beyond me.

It saddens me that the worst GA member gets the most publicity.

Talentless slag. -_-

The Glee cover of Don't Stop Believing pisses over Joe's from the top of the new building in Dubai whilst Joe's is at the bottom of the mid Atlantic ridge.

Cheryl clearly never had taste though, given she allowed that train wreck of an album to leave the studio.

And yeah, talk about complete hypocrisy on the charge of 'saturating' the charts :/ I'd LOVE to see Lily and Elly in Glee though!

I concur, as much as I love Girls Aloud, cheryl can be a total nob sometimes!

But did she REALLY say it? If she said it in a Radio interview surely there'd be evidence...

Sorry about all these questions  I'm just curious and I won't believe anything until I've heard that Radio interview in which she apparently said it...

Oh what was that? Oh. That was the very last part of Cheryl Cole's likeability dying.
Urgghhh the gay one is awful :puke2:
I've now seen all the episodes and I must actually say each episode just gets better and better as they go along. So those who don't think much of the first two episodes or whatever, stick in there because it really DOES get better. As soon as you get to know the characters as their own and know what's happening.
still only seen the first two episodes - waiting for the others to be shown on TV, but both soundtracks came today :D some great versions of these songs!
Anyone else love April  is she in it for long?

You will love them even more when you see them in the context of the episode and the story behind the songs.

Unfortunately, it was only a one episode guest role. Hopefully she will be back though, but I haven't heard anything. Her version of Maybe This Time and Alone are amazing  And Tyler won't be happy about what you said about the "gay one."
