April 27, 201015 yr Well i've downloaded the tracks that are in tonights episode, and I got to say, I'm not feeling them as much unfortunately. Still, here's hoping the storyline and stuff makes up for that. I'm not that big a fan of 'Beautiful' by Mercedes. But that's because of the song I think. I've always found it to be overrated. 'Fire' is my favourite from the tracks that will be featured. But that's still only a 7 out of 10 for me :(
April 27, 201015 yr I come bearing spoilers for the episodes yet to air. Episode 16 is named "Home". The main storys are the return of April, Kurt trying to set his father and Finn's mother up and it backfiring and Mercedes battling with her weight. Chris Colfer aka Kurt has been praised for his role in this episode as he battles his love for Finn and has been tipped to get an Emmy nod for Best Supporting Actor. Thier's apparently a touching scene when Finn is bonding with Kurt's dad and Kurt is crying silently as he can never bond over football and apparently this episode also sees the beginning of a Mercedes and Quinn friendship Episode 17 is named "Bad Reputation. This episode sees Rachel splitting with Jesse and getting with Puck. A salacious list about the members of Glee club surfaces and Sue is horrified when a video of her performing the Olivia Newton John hit Physical is leaked. This episode features a guest apperance from Olivia Newton John. Songs include Ice Ice Baby, U Can't Touch This, Total Eclipse of the Heart and Run Joey Run Episode 18 is named "Laryngitis". The episode is about Rachel losing her voice and not being able to perform. Kurt tries to change his persona to please his dad. He also performs two songs in this episode- Pink Houses and Rose's Turn and this episode apparently sees Puck and Mercedes getting together. Episode 19 is named "Dream On". This episode is directed by Joss Whedon and features guest stars Molly Shannon and Neil Patrick Harris. Will performs two songs with NPH and Artie dreams about being able to walk. Rachel struggles with a life long personal issue. Episode 20 is named "Funk" and apparently features a Quinn solo performance. Episode 21 is named "Theatricality". This episode features 2 lady GaGa songs - Bad Romance and PokerFace. The Girls (and Kurt) do Lady GaGa whilst the boys do Kiss's "Beth". Tina and Kurt stand up to bullies. Coldplays Viva la Vida is apparently going to be sung in the episode aswell. Episode 22 is named "Journey" and is the season finale. I posted about the finale in an earlier post so won't repeat but it's regionals and MdKinley High must place for the Glee club to continue I'm a spoiler addict. XD
April 27, 201015 yr I come bearing spoilers for the episodes yet to air. Episode 20 is named "Funk" and apparently features a Quinn solo performance. I'm a spoiler addict. XDERGH! I have to wait 4 more weeks?! :nocheer: At least there is one though  And I am seriously looking forward to Neil Patrick Harris' cameo! He is amazing in 'How I Met Your Mother'!
April 27, 201015 yr ERGH! I have to wait 4 more weeks?! :nocheer: At least there is one though  this This THIS THIS THIS THIS Quinn is beyond GODLY
April 28, 201015 yr I like Quinn a lot more than I used to. It's Other Asian and the black guy who are quite pointless. [i'm not being racist, I just don't know their names ] Viva La Vida sounds like it could be amazing :o
April 28, 201015 yr Amazing news! Brittany and Santanna are being promoted to series regulars for the 2nd series! :D
April 28, 201015 yr "DAAD! Meet Carol Hudson. Ms Hudson my father Burt Hummel. You both have dead spouses maybe you should talk" LMFAO!
April 28, 201015 yr Just finished watching the next episode. I'm not a fan of the song choices, personally, but this episode was FANTASTIC. It's nice to see Glee take things seriously now and again, the best thing about it though, is they manage to keep the Glee humour too. The whole storyline revolving around Kurt was brilliantly done. It's easy to see why he's getting talk of Emmy noms and stuff. The Mercedes and Quinn talk in the dr's office, almost had me in tears. Very emotional. I like Mercedes' version of 'Beautiful' a whole lot more now too. So to sum up about this episode... The songs, for me, were pants. But the acting and storylines were at their best I feel. Award winning episode imo.
April 28, 201015 yr My opinion on ep 16 ^_^ Was rather depressing lol was nice to have a break from the Rachel/Jessie relationship was getting a bit sick of it. Nice to see more of Quinn she needs a bigger role again  Brittany saying she thinks her cats been reading her diary was hilarious. April could have been used better especially after she made episode 5 of the first series. Songs on the episode as well were dull and pretty rubbish tbh.

Forgot about that Brittany line  Also, OT slightly but LOVE your avatar
April 28, 201015 yr Ep 16.... Didn't enjoy tbh. Thought all songs were pretty crap and not a Kurt [or Finn] fan so it didnt do much to hold my attention. Highlight of the ep was Brittany's simple cat reading diary line. Fast becoming star of show for me! Thank god for Kristin Chenoweth though
April 28, 201015 yr Well. You all suck <_< I don't think there was anything wrong with the episode, apart from the songs. :( It was nice to see different characters take the main light for a bit.
April 28, 201015 yr THOUGHTS: I loved the focus on Mercedes/Kurt/Finn as opposed to Rachel and co, it was really refreshing to watch. The songs were all pretty rubbish granted, but 'Beautiful' was such a lovely moment  If the songs were a bit better, I'd say it was easily one of the better episodes.
April 28, 201015 yr Songs wise it was nothing on the past 2 episodes. Mercede's version of Beautiful was always going to be fantastic and she really outdid herself - one of my favourite moments of the series. I always like the episodes where Rachel gets shoved into a corner and we get to focus on some of the other characters. Kurt and Mercedes really did shine in this episode and the actor who plays Kurt deserves any award he's given and more. It was nice to see a great new side to Quinn aswell, it's amazing to think how much she's changed during the series from the show's villanious cow to the likeable person she's become. Good to see April returned - her story arc wasnt as well done as I would have liked though. On the whole though, very good episode which was let down a bit by the music.
April 28, 201015 yr Am I the only one who finds with Glee that: the better the song choices = the worse the episode; the worse the song choices = the better the episode? Because I loved the episode that is going out on E4 on Monday; yet I found the Madonna episode underwhelming from a plot perspective.
April 28, 201015 yr From their perspective, it must be increasingly difficult to pick the right songs every week and balance it around a plot as well. It's a very unique show. They clearly can't seem to find the right balance  Personally I'd prefer only two numbers a week as I feel that the plot is extremely cut up sometimes, even when the songs are a part of it like 'Gives You Hell' etc
April 28, 201015 yr Home was quite simply brilliant. It was nice not to see too much of Rachel and I'm really enjoying Kurt's storyline arc at the moment. It's not over yet though. Chris Colfer has great chemistry with the actor who plays his father. They really work well as a duet. I'm liking Mercedes more and more and hers and Kurt's friendship is one of my favourite relationships out of the whole series. I don't think Amber is a strong actress but she has such a powerful voice. Her version of Beautiful didn't have an effect on me until I saw it on the show. I admit I teared up. Was also nice to see Quinn looking like she has some sort of heart but I bet her bitchy side will return. Overall a really strong episode. Good plots but the songs wern't up to much.
April 28, 201015 yr Quinn  i loved her more than ever in this ep. I enjoyed the ep. There are only 2 i'm not keen on thus far.
