I really hope BEP don't make #1 next week. It's an awesome song, but Agnes needs a #1. :(

I don't think Agnes stands a chance of being number one next week. Yesterday Dizzee had also cut her lead from him by 50%, although it's hard to tell how much that is the novelty wearing off Agnes and how much is the 'weekend effect'. It wouldn't surprise me if she actually fell behind Black Eyed Peas, Dizzee and Kasabian.

Black Eyed Peas are doing lots of promotion for their album and 'Boom Boom Pow' this week too so I'd say they've got next weeks #01 in the bag.

I just saw how bad Kate Ryan did here and I find it quite surprising, I heard that song out last night and everyone was going wild and singing along.

I think it's albsolutely dire. And I used to be a fan of Kasabian.

 

No idea why it's doing so well, I guess people must be buying it because of the artist, not the song itself.

It really doesn't deserve to out-peak Empire or LSF, but it no doubt will do. :(

Oh yeah, everyone loves it. But clubgoers are more likely to buy mixed comps, and they ahve released it with virtually no promotion, and three months after it's peak in popularity. Sad really :snif:

It's rather $h!t, along with the rest of the new album. (Except 'Vlad the Impaler', which is actually pretty good).

I don't even thionk 'Fire' is a grower...I've heard it quite a few times and my opinion on it hasn't changed at all.
