Nerina probably needs the money now...

why all of her solo material flopped so criminally I really don't know :snif: I know thisispop is/was expecting 'When Did I Become Such A B*tch' to be one of the year's biggest hits but I think she's probably going to plough her energy into songwriting now as it will probably be more profitable for her than a solo career that seems to be going nowhere

both of her albums were excellent too, particularly Fires, so hopefully she can produce something equally great for Diana, in fact 'When Did I Become Such A B*tch' could turn out to be quite apt for Diana :kink:

She's just finished her new album so I wouldn't write her off just yet. She said it'd be released before the end of the year so there's still chance for ...Such A Bitch to be a hit.

Diana confirmed at the premiere of '17 Again' that she had already begun work on her debut album. She said it wouldn't be rushed and that it will be 'Diana style'. She has also revealed on her Twitter account that she has been working with Nerina Pallot and Ruth Lorenzo, Patrick Wolf and Dev Hynes. Guy Sigsworth is set to produce the album.

:D

im actually some what interested, with people like them who are such great songwriters, proper random though lol.

LOL, her performance of "Run" was just dire. I somewhat understood her appeal at the start of X-Factor, but jeez, nobody can justify that mess.

Well there's no point pretending that the attempt at Run was any good..

But I'm still interested in this, more than I am than I have ever been with an X-Factor contestant. I love the idea of a Ruth/Diana hook-up. Maybe Diana doing some sultry verses, and then Ruth letting rip on the choruses.

Diana CAN be very good, but she needs to stop trying to force her voice. She sounded better in the first few weeks of the contest, when it was all a bit more natural.

I prefer Alex Roots a million times more than Diana Vickers!

Ruth is 100 times better than Diana she should stay well clear.

Just found Alex Roots doing an awesome cover of Breakeven! Tell me she's not better than miss vickers! :)

Ooof I like 'Jumping Into Rivers'. (If anyone has an MP3, I'm only a PM away :kink:)

It's quite summery/Noah and the Whale sounding!

Doesnt sound too bad, but her diction is horrible.
I quite like it. I just don't like the way she pronounces 'rivers'. :(

Saw Diana live on Sat, and she was outstanding, she sang Hallelujah :D

She';s also the lead in Little Voice, which will hit Westend in October.

You've gotta be kidding.....

Yeah, cos Diana Vickers is really on a par with the multi-talented, Golden Globe/BAFTA nominated Jane Horrocks innit.....?

Diana Vickers confirms internet song leak

Former X Factor star Diana Vickers has confirmed that a track from her highly-anticipated debut album has leaked onto the internet.

The song, called 'Jumping Into Rivers', appeared on several file-sharing outlets last week. A statement posted on her official website claimed that the source of the leak was currently being investigated.

Writing on her Twitter account, she said: "Guys, so my track has been leaked. Sucks, but nothing I can do about it. I hope you like it! It was the first song I wrote for my album!

"Unlike what a lot of people have been saying, it was never going to be a single or anything But, it's a good summer tune so enjoy!"

Vickers, who finished fourth in last year's competition, recently announced that she would be making her West End debut in a revival of musical comedy The Rise And Fall Of Little Voice.

I quite like the track. But yes, it's not single material.

Looks pretty likely that it was leaked by the record company too... @D
