A Gabrielle B-side? Seriously? Which one? :P

It's the best dance track in years. If there is ANY justice, When Love Takes Over will be number one a week on Sunday.

I think he meant Jordin Sparks (When comparing the Gabrielle B-Side and stuff) Which is total rubbish, seeing as not even a Gabrielle A-Side is that good :P

Are you talking about the version of When Love Takes Over that completely rips off Coldplay's Clocks? I hope Chris Martin sues them. That version doesn't seem danceable to me.

The hook that goes "When Love Takes Over, yeah yeah" sounds like something Gabrielle would write and include as an album track. But it's certainly inferior to the impeccable stylings of Gabrielle.

OK then :P Kelly has a stunning voice, light years above Gabrielle. Anyway, all versions (AFAIK) use an official sample of Coldplay's Clocks - they are credited.

I don't give someone as unoriginal as Jordin Sparks any thought. So I would NEVER compare her to the great Gabrielle. Unfortunately I had to endure 4 painful minutes of Battlefield while watching American Idol. But I will bypass it whenever it's played on the radio.

I stand corrected then :o

But my comment about it being better than ANYTHING Gabrielle has churned out stays the same... :P

You do realise it LEGALLY samples Clocks right?!

And it sounds about as far away from a GABRIELLE record as you can get.

You've baffled me.

There's definitely some extreme irony in anybody who watches Idol complaining about, well... anything :heehee: That show is painful to watch as it is. Jordin's performance just about made up for the cringetastica of Ryan Seacrest. Just about.

Stunning voice? I can hear that voice in any church in America. Not one thing distinctive about it, except that it's loud. She will have to find many more dance producers to have the track record (and influence) of Gabrielle. Go to one of Gabrielle's live shows and you will know what I'm talking about.

But back to the charts, Pixie is a lock at #1 for many weeks until Paloma Faith, so Kelly Rowland doesn't have a chance.

I for one am loving the many British #1s this year. May they long continue!

I think you're wrong and it will be number 1 easily.

You just said what I was going to type!

When Love Takes Over is the best dance tune since Robyn's With Every Heartbeat, imo and fully deserves to get to #1.

A Gabrielle B-side?!

And let's be honest, Gabrielle hasn't been relevant since that 'Reach' $h!t.

I do like Gabrielle (well, I did when she was releasing decent records), but the comparison tickled me :heehee:

Dont be ridiculous. David Guetta should easily top the chart. If not next week, the following for sure.
