August 27, 200915 yr I'm looking forward to it! Although judging by the trailer it looks like the deaths could be kinda stupid. Especially that one where she goes through the car wash!
August 27, 200915 yr I actually love the Final Destination films! They're so brilliantly stupid. Seriously, some of the ideas for deaths they come up with... Can't wait to see it, it looks just as silly as ever.
August 27, 200915 yr Whatever you do don't go on your own, you would look like a dickhead, if you scream out loud. :heehee:
August 27, 200915 yr Whatever you do don't go on your own, you would look like a dickhead, if you scream out loud. :heehee: :o I'll be going alone as I always do!
August 28, 200915 yr Just got home from seeing this and it was rather amazzzing to be honest, haa. God love the FD franchise. I'm annoyed that it, technically wasn't the FINAL destination. What made it the FINAL one? Considering the ending is basically what happens in all the others, I wanted this group to be the ones who actually DID find a way to stop it, and survive to live on happily ever after ):. Oh and obligatory lowering of the town, the chap who played Nick would well f***ing get it. Corr blimey.
August 28, 200915 yr I agree  with both of your comments actually haha, erm yeh I was expecting different, I flinched so many times
August 28, 200915 yr Even by the standards of the franchise this was APPALLING. Like in the final scene where the two girls were having a conversation, it set new standards for the least amount of inter-actor chemistry ever recorded on camera. I know it's not something to take at all seriously but even I was amazed at just how bad it was, and I love my tacky shit where the actors resemble finest MDF wood.
August 28, 200915 yr Have to agree, i was gravely dissapointed. I love the franchise and I didnt go in expecting to take it remotley seriously... but it was all just so carbon copy. It LOOKED tacky visually, the acting was $h!t and it was so short which made it seem even more thrown together. If this really was the last I'm deeply hurt :(
August 28, 200915 yr Hahaha I loved how after Hunt's death nobody said a w.o.r.d, and Nick/Lori/George were merrily clinking away their champagne glasses the same day it'd happened haaa. I think I loved it a lot because my tickets were free :D.
August 28, 200915 yr  I know, I love how they weren't phased by any of the deaths AT ALL. Ridiculous. I'm saddened I paid money to see this :(
August 29, 200915 yr wow it's in 3D?! -_- This is the first 3D film I've actually been to and flinched  The 3D affects were good but the only other 3D films I've seen is Scar & Unborn and what a waste of 3Dness they was.
August 29, 200915 yr Oh and obligatory lowering of the town, the chap who played Nick would well f***ing get it. Corr blimey. Seconded!!!
August 29, 200915 yr  the third one is on tv now I forgot how awful the sunbed scene was, its so foul :puke2:
August 30, 200915 yr Went to see this and surprise surprise, I loved it! LOL! I'm such a sucker for the Final Destination series! Yes it was definately my least favourite out of all four, but I thought the 3D effects worked quite well in some parts. The series in order from my fave - least fave is: 3 > 1 > 2 > 4 (3 and 1 are actually on par for me...)
August 31, 200915 yr I dont understand what people dont like about 4? I think its great!!! I liked the Clear Rivers reference, and the black security guards family died in a motorway accident (Movie 2 reference?) Did anyone else pick up on those?
September 2, 200915 yr This is my least favourite of the franchise to date. I thought the 3D effects were pretty good tbh. The use of them is definitely getting better, and I liked how they didn't have things just flying out at you for no reason. But yes, it definitely seemed a bit stale. All the deaths just seemed a little re-heated, and I didn't like how the strangers felt a little bit out of touch. They worked the 2nd one in a really good way - the 4th just seemed a little bit needless. I thought some of the deaths were a bit of a let down too. I didn't like the ending either. Infact I hated it. The cinema should have just blown up and left it like that instead of another premenition then a well, $h!t ending tbh. The 4th ending was just the 1st and 3rd endings put together again - where Alex, Clea and Carter are in Paris and that sign hits Carter and kills him, and on the train in the 3rd one where they all die. The film gets extra marks though as I love the Final Destination films and Lori was quite phwoaaar.
