Very sad that Paloma isn't headed to the top 10. The problem is there's too many quality female vocalists this year (Pixie, Little Boots, Paloma, Lenka, La Roux, Florence) and some are getting lost in the shuffle -- while last year there was just Duffy and Adele. Perhaps Paloma Faith will resurge and hopefully Florence & The Machine do well next week.
im in love with that Bulletproof song. Don't particularly like La roux, but the song is quality.

IFTK was better but Bulletproof is great too and HAVE to be number 1 after IFTK sold so many copies and didn't get there.

Nope WLTO will hog the top spot for at least 4 weeks. Which funnily enough will be the same length of time Bulletproof will be No 2 for. Ironic, no? (TINY DANCER) ;)

This is EXACTLY the problem imo. Paloma sounds exactly like Duffy - if I didn't know who she was, I should have said that it was Duffy signing the record.

Much like 2005/2006 when loads of indie bands came coming through riding on the success that Franz Ferdinand, Razorlight, Arctic Monkeys had had etc. - this is what's beginning to happen with female pop artists. Some artists get lost, others will survive, it's the way the market works.

No, 'Bulletproof' is much better I'd say.

Bulletproof is more 'radio-friendly' than In For The Kill. I think it will be #1 next week. Plus there's heavy promotion of La Roux's album. It looks like WLTO's has lost a few bars in its lead (or one can hope), so its sales should be declining each day to make room for Bulletproof to take the iTunes #1 next Monday and the official chart #1 the following Sunday.

i'm hoping that bulletproof goes number 1 next week whilst paparazzi slowly creeps it's way up the top 10 and gets to number 1 the week after

I absolutely hated IFTK but adore Bulletproof. Keen to hear some more stuff from her now to see if IFTK was a one off.

I'd say Jordin will be passing GaGa soon. :)

Not gonna happen. One or two bars loss every day fluctuation doesn't make a bit of difference, by the weekend you could have all the dance fans downloading WLTO giving it an even more substantial lead than it has now. If it sells close to 100k this week this would probably mean La Roux would have to do 80k to beat it which I don't see it achieving. But as they say, we shall see..

Don't forget Bonkers sold over 100K in his first week and drop very quickly... I think it will be close.

He was deleted so that had something to do with his 2nd week total!

I personally think they will hang on, for a lil while!

La Roux could become the new Rihanna [as she has vacated the position]... as no.2 queen!

Jack Penate now number 46 after his BRILLIANT Live Lounge performance of the song  Shame the same couldn't be said for his version of 'Bulletproof' by La Roux :(
La Roux could become the new Rihanna

Regardless of chart positions, Elly (La Roux) is a little too ugly to ever be compared with Rihanna.

I don't understand why Paloma isn't higher. I don't know anyone who doesn't like that song!

^I think most people didn't know it's out now...

I think her next single will do better, even though I haven't heard it yet.

Florence must go Top 10, something that Little Boots didn't unfortunately for NIT.
