85% of all homes, had a Colour TV by 1984! JIM DAVIDSON topped the tv chart...not one of my favourite people, so less said. CORONATION STREET saw the end of ELSIE TANNER (The late PAT PHOENIX). She was seen leaving the Street with her old flame BILL GREGORY (JACK WATSON). They went to run a bar in Portugal. MORECAMBE AND WISE were doing the business for ITV. LESLIE CROWTHER kept the crowd going in "The Price Is Right". SORRELL AND SON was a mini series based on the old film. The story of a father, who gives up most things to help his son. Series 11, for THE TWO RONNIES. THAT`S LIFE giving the Sunday evening schedule a highlight along with ESTHER RANTZEN. MOLLIE SUGDEN (later to appear on THAT`S LIFE), was providing the laughs (or not) in dodgy sitcom "That`s My Boy". ENGLAND beat BRAZIL 2-0, in a friendly match with goals from BARNES & HATELEY. EAEMON ANDREWS resurrected "WHAT`S MY LINE" for Mondays at 7 on ITV...the panel game where, you had to guess people`s proffessions. SCARECROW AND MRS KING was the U.S. espionage series, dealing with mostly Soviet spies...all old hat. SCARECROW was the codename for LEE STETSON (who joined forces in a CIA style thing), with his ex-wife "AMANDA KING", played by KATE JACKSON. DYNASTY bored me to death on Friday nights! JUST AMAZING gave BARRY SHEEN & KENNY LYNCH some amazing stunts (in YOU BET style) for Saturday evenings on ITV. PORRIDGE got a Thursday repeat for BBC1. MICHAEL ASPEL gave us his chatshow on Saturdays at 10pm on ITV. WINNER TAKES ALL was the betting quiz for JIMMY TARBUCK & GEOFFREY WHEELER on Fridays at 7pm. SHINE ON HARVEY MOON brought wartime comedy/drama to Fridays at 9pm.

) Position without downloads alone. Also without downloads alone are: 37 is KOL, 38 Akon, 39 Jonas Bros, 40 Depeche Mode.

= Position on Chart Show tv.

Kelly Clarkson may well be replaced in the top 50, by the 40 week long-running Sex On Fire by Sunday, and Jason Mraz might well fall out of the 40 after 24 weeks, yippee! Metro Station may still Shake It, in the 40 too. Take That and Soulja Boy closing in on each other...create a race for #9. For now though the Guetta/Rowland combi is selling 35,000 more than Pixie...whether that is correct is open to question? Then, I was told Kasabian had shifted 100,000 more copies than Paolo, by Lunchtime. I don`t know if that is correct either! Outside the singles top 50 are: Shontelle, KOL (on fire), Akon (Beautiful), Jonas Brothers, and Depeche Mode...51 - 55 that is. Nickelback are in the top 70, along with the Script, as Blazin`Squad beggar the question "Will we still be in the top 75, for Sunday?"

NOTE: These are not Official Charts. They are based on Chart Show tv`s charts, but with added sales/minus airplay, to bring them up to date...making them the most up to date charts in Britain at this point. The Chart Show tv top 20 videos, can been seen on Chart Show tv on Saturdays at 9am, and Sundays at 11am on Sky Digital and Freeview.

09 52 SAID IT ALL - TAKE THAT 7) =8

- it will likely enter there or #10. :)

11 09 UNTOUCHED - VERONICAS - =10

- I hope it stays Top 10 coming Sunday......

Edited by FunMaker11

Gutted for Paloma Faith. I was absolutely convinced it would go Top 10 at the very least. :( Good to see Pussycat Dolls & Saturdays climb though.
Take That so high :o Haven't looked at ANY midweeks this week, so very surprised to see it Top 10!

I'm surprised - I thought SIA, as much as I like it, would miss the top 20 - so it even being close to the top ten is good enough for me for a third single from a fairly big selling album. The only thing that narks me a bit is that it is likely to peak higher than the superior Up All Night.

Norma

I'm shocked Take That seem to have held top 10 all week, but I'll be even more shocked if they stay there for Sunday.

Sophie and Paloma should both be at least 10 places higher. -_-

Thanks Dave. Legend is truly a legendary album isn't it? Don't think I know anyone who hasn't got it!

Is Mr. Bizzle anywhere?

I meant to put that in B-rye! It might just sneak into the top 75 by tomorrow, as of Friday night, it was battling with Blazin`Squad for a place...so keep your hopes up, mate!

Absolutely Chris. It lives in my rack next to Fleetwood Mac`s "Rumours", and for some reason "The Very Best Of Elvis Costello".

Take That actually opened Tuesday at #7 (missing info, on mids had it at #4, wrong of course). Falling to 8 on Weds, 9 on Thurs, and on Friday. Soulja Boy are almost over taking on the Physical chart...that is also likely to happen on the proper chart. Jordin Sparks is closing in on Veronicas. Tinchy and Kasabian keep swapping places at 13 and 14, and Sophie and Paloma keeping changing around at 15, and 16. Don`t think it will change a lot, by Sunday. Paloma opened at #14 on Tuesday. #14 Weds, 16 on Thurs, and 15 on Fri (16 Friday night). Sophie entered at 19 on Tues, #15 on Weds, 14 on Thurs, and 16 on Friday (15 Friday night).

Me neither, though I like Marley. I bet nearly everyone here has ABBA Gold though :)
