The chart makes no sense at all, its so inaccurate, I dread to think what the sales are for yesterday, iTunes is a mess now, with their sales missing every week, and on top of that physicals are missing from HMV.

What are other outlets is there.

I'd like to know how MW can compile a report as they just don't have a clue.

I'd like to know where the problem is lying in the data reporting - at the OCC's door or at iTunes/HMV's. Seems to me it is the OCC; however iTunes seems to be a major culprit frequently so they surely have to share some of the blame.

Also, I wonder if iTunes data for Sunday is in there, it might well be as when we had the issues with iTunes for a whole week (2 weeks ago), it was getting added on a 2-day delay basis.
OMG Paparazzi's already a top 10 smash, up 4 positions from Sunday's chart! Woo :dancing:

Surely the cock up lies with the Big Top 40 chart this week as the iTunes was still rolling, as usually the sales end week is Saturday. I would have thought iTunes would lock the data Saturday midnight to give the sales info to OCC, I wonder if that's where the problem lies.

This is probably why Take That are so high:

Edit - as well as iTunes data missing of course!

I don't think that has anything to do with it! Its missing data. Even I'm not expecting Take That to enter the chart higher than 15 on Sunday!

On another matter - if someone bought that offer - it would only count as one sale anyway - and even if not - surely a dvd can't count towards the singles chart.

I'm very, very happy though that the album could be top 10 on Sunday - I'm quite certain there's no mistake there! :) :)

I'm posting from work - never done that before!

Very surprising. :(

I was expecting a slight drop or Top 15, but no. :(

I didnt expect Take That so high in the singles as i thought it would only go top 20 but the tour and the jnathon ross perfromance will have helped but the excellent phyisical release will also help, even if there is data missing id be happy once take that stay top 15, im even more happy to see their album top 10.

I hope David Guetta and Kelly Rowland stay number 1 and i hope kelly rowland is quick to follow the sucess up and build on it as she needs to

Jason Mraz is still in the singles chart as a non mover, if anyone wants to know, but I doubt he will hold on once sales are added, well.... hopefully not.
