Posted June 16, 200916 yr David Guetta’s collaboration with Kelly Rowland When Love Takes Over (Positiva) – released digitally last week to combat a cover by Airi L – looks set to top the singles chart this Sunday. The song was released digitally last Thursday and made number seven in the singles chart this week. On yesterday’s sales, however, the track was about 4,000 sales ahead of Pixie Lott’s Mama Do (Mercury), its closest contender and the current number one. Airi L’s cover of When Love Takes Over (Power Music), which made 22 in the charts last week, looks set to drop out of the top 100. Meanwhile, Paloma Faith looks set to score the highest new entry on the singles chart with Stone Cold Sober (Epic), which should chart in the top 20. On the albums chart Kasabian’s West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum (Columbia) should spend a second week at number one, with its closest competitors likely to be Paolo Nutini’s Sunny Side Up (Atlantic) and Jonas Brothers’ new album Lines, Vines and Trying Times (Hollywood). Enter Shikari’s first album for Atlantic Common Dreads should debut within the top twenty. ======================================= Top 200 - iTunes data for Monday is missing, so is HMV (both physical and digital) and Napster. June 16, 200916 yr Guetta and Kelly are way ahead on iTunes. It's possible that we will have another number 1 over 100k after Bonkers :o I hope so :cheer:
June 16, 200916 yr My internet has been dodgy today too....my dad's blaming the BBC for telling everyone to go online to find out about the Iran elections. Anyway, part of my dream last night for some reason was hearing Fearne Cotton announce that after 4 weeks at no.5, Daniel Merriweather had climbed to no.1. But then I woke up and remembered David and Kelly were released and thats a surefire no.1.
June 16, 200916 yr Odd for I too have had Internet problems this morning! :o It’s all about David Guetta this week; hopefully Paparazzi can make the top ten.
June 16, 200916 yr I commonly have Internet problems, maybe because I'm using Spotify while surfing the web... I didn't encounter one yesterday though.
June 16, 200916 yr 4 Take That - holy s*** me. :o Missing sales. :kink: Almost got my T5 album prediction right. :D Edited June 16, 200916 yr by FunMaker11
June 16, 200916 yr Would have thought Agnes would be in the top 5 :( Take That being number 4, it will probs drop through out the week.
June 16, 200916 yr Could anyone please post the exact chart position for the new Depeche Mode single? Thanks in advance. Edited June 16, 200916 yr by Jack1969
June 16, 200916 yr Hope Jordin can manage top 10 by the weekend! :D Martin, if you have the info, please can I have Placebo's position? (in the albums)
June 16, 200916 yr Take That :o Depeche Mode really low, surely won't be top 40 by the weekend. Top 75... I don't know.
