I'm hoping MITM climbs to No. 1, one of my favourite Michael Jackson songs. It only got to No. 21 when it was originally released in the UK.

 

I bought "Number Ones" in HMV today (my first MJ album), it was their last but one MJ CD they had left, apparently they sold 70 copies of "Thriller" that morning. Went to another HMV and they had nothing.

 

Downloaded "Bad" and selected tracks from "Dangerous". His style is so varied, from soul and funk to rock and r'n'b or "straight pop".

Personally, I really think he should have come off the block with the tough, edgy very 2001 sounding "2000 Watts" as the lead single with his deeper sounding vocal.

 

That song makes me go... "WTF is that Michael?!" :o How did this ever happen? He could've had a Madonna-style comeback with this...

You probably can add Smooth Criminal and Ben now, at least 6 MJ tracks to chart, the more they climb, they are most likely to chart on Sunday

I wonder if Florence + The Machine will creep up a bit now, she just performed on Jonathan Ross, not pitch perfect, bit scratchy performance, but I think she pulled it off.

Man in the Mirror still has a heck of a way to go to topple La Roux at the top of the Downloads...

Lady GaGa could be #3 again soon she's gaining on Guetta quite quickly now and if La Roux gets toppled the #1 effect will be gone for her and could see GaGa rise above her in the next week or so.

Off The Wall is my favourite Jackson album followed closely by Thriller. Invincible is extremely underrated though.

I agree with thisispop that MJ should have released 2000 Watts. It's so different and catchy, I reckon it would have got to number one.
