June 23, 200916 yr We have one... that's looking likely to miss Top 10 (sats) This however I'm predicting a peak of #12
June 23, 200916 yr #7, and should stick around. Great song and vid... I just hope we get Never Ever too.
June 24, 200916 yr I adore this. I think it's very instant and catchy too ... hopefully it's another hit for her. I reckon low Top 10, #07 at best probably.
June 24, 200916 yr How many songs called Work do we need? =/ I also agree with this! Kelly R, The Sats, Ciara and I think there might have been one other. The problem is, all these songs are different, but what is the same is the fact that their choruses are made up by them saying the word 'Work' repeatedly!!!!!!!!
June 24, 200916 yr The problem is, all these songs are different, but what is the same is the fact that their choruses are made up by them saying the word 'Work' repeatedly!!!!!!!! I've noticed that too! :o Bizarre! :heehee: I predict top 10 for this. Definitely my favourite Ciara single and the video is brilliant, so I imagine that will help it a lot. A lot more radio-friendly imo than LSM too. Somewhere between #7 and #9.
June 24, 200916 yr Definitely Top 20. ;) How many songs called Work do we need? =/ I know. Some artist can't be imaginative about song titles these days. :P Edited June 24, 200916 yr by FunMaker11
June 24, 200916 yr According to acharts.us, at least since mid-March 2003, we've already had three hits called 'Work' and this will be the fourth. The other three are Kelly Rowland, The Saturdays and Jimmy Eat World. I also noticed that all the choruses are just made up of the word 'Work' repeated xP Three other songs called Work that charted in the UK that I haven't heard (from chartstats.com): Technotronic feat. Reggie #40 1991 Barrington Levy #65 1994 Masters At Work #81 2007 Edited June 24, 200916 yr by B-rye
June 24, 200916 yr It should manage to peak around #8-10 as it has a good video, the song's good and it's from an album that quickly fell down the charts. Not sure how it'll actually go though, maybe top 15. I'm not sure people have that much interest in Ciara now. I expect the lead did well because of Justin Timberlake and even that didn't hang around for that long.
June 24, 200916 yr So hard to tell as its Ciara and its not an overly comercial song, I'm hoping top 10 but expecting top 20. The chorus just ruins a perfectly good song though its such a non-event.
