June 26, 200916 yr Man In The Mirror, and the UK public agrees according to iTunes - MITM is #10, Thriller the closest to that at 21.
June 26, 200916 yr One Day In Your Life is the only one of those songs I could listen to. It's beautiful. The rest are simply terrible. Everything he recorded after Billie Jean was awful in my opinion (except Earth Song, which I liked). Edited June 26, 200916 yr by Paul JH
June 26, 200916 yr 'Man In The Mirror' first or 'You Are Not Alone' for second. I hope he dominates the charts for a long time.
June 26, 200916 yr Billie Jean (that'll be remembered as his best song probably) or Thriller for it represented him as an artist and of course the video was the best thing ever in music. Man In The Mirror is actually one of my least favourite songs by him :o
June 26, 200916 yr By title, easily the most fitting would be 'Gone Too Soon' - only 50 years of age and he was cruelly taken from us :(
June 26, 200916 yr I'd go for 'Beat It' or 'Thriller' as they remind me of good parties and happy times but there are a dozen Jackson songs which i like almost equally.
June 26, 200916 yr I think "I'll Be There" from The Jackson 5 would be an emotional tribute song. But I voted for "You Are Not Alone"
June 26, 200916 yr One day in my life is my favourite song from that selection but there are so many he has done which are good, so its hard to choose.
June 26, 200916 yr 'Man in the Mirror' EASILY! Not only his most memorable ballad, but by far his best song IMO!
June 27, 200916 yr Someone mentioned "Will You Be There", and man, that's probably my favourite Michael Jackson track of all time. It reminds me so much of my childhood. It's definitely the most underrated song in his catalogue. Oh, and the final verse is just beautiful, yet harrowing.
June 28, 200916 yr One he also wrote the lyrics to. Most of his post-Bad output is a bit too cloying for my liking, though. I nominate Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough (the first single released from Off the Wall).

It's definitely the most underrated song in his catalogue. Oh, and the final verse is just beautiful, yet harrowing. I'm going with this one too. It's the one people always forget about, but it's such a great haunting track.
