I think the album will be fairly successful tbh, seeing as it'll have their biggest single on it and their other albums did relatively well. :P

The cover and the album itself are terrible but I can't see it having that much affect on them.

 

True but 'Perfect Day' sold f*** all outside the christmas period, they've picked an absolutely stupid time of year to release.

 

Plus this 'sound' of the single kind of ditches their chavvy fanbase.

Do you REALLY feel the need to call people who buy records from artists you don't particularly like "thick"? Just coz YOU don't like it doesn't mean it shouldn't do well and people can't buy it :blink:. There are (obviously) people out there that actually LIKE it and want to see it doing well. IF (I honestly don't think they WILL) they beat MJ, it's hardly the end of the world and it certainly doesn't mean the people that have bought the record are "thick".

I am new to this forum and have bought Cascada's new track and have just been called thick for doing so. Not the most welcoming comment! :blink: Having an opinion is fine, it's what forums are all about, but to get personal and offensive is surely breaking forum rules? Evacuate the Dancefloor is indeed crappy Eurotrash, but in my opinion just the right sort of crap thank you. I think, personally, Man In The Mirror is crappy but i wont insult others who chose to buy it. I would love Cascada to have their 1st no.1, but if Wacko Jacko's song is no.1 then fair play its the most popular song of the week. People take it way too seriously - God it's not like anyone has died or anything....

On another note I wonder when the one week #01's will end, it'll be either Cascada/MJ this week then JLS .... I didn't mind it at first but it'd be nice to see someone stay at the top for more than week!

Personally, I think Cascada are music for chavs. And I, as well as a large percentage of the population, regard chavs as thick. Therefore, 1+1 =2. Or if you're a chav, 1+1 =3. Hope that clears it up. Remember, just my opinion.. I only speak for myself..

I absolutely agree with that, even though I've liked their previous stuff and am nothing like that at all

'Crying Lightning' is released to iTunes 12.01 Tuesday. Don't think it will get to #1, but iirc Brianstorm did pretty well on Itunes when it was first released, and the single is on iTunes a few hours after it's premiered the studio version so it has a decent shot at #1 i'd say, although I highly doubt it personally. Depends what the sales for this week end up being.

They really do newed to push back that release at least a week :s

You shouldn't feel guilty for LOLing about those less fortunate than yourselves if it makes you feel better. Those poor, unfortunate chavs who think Cascada is the pinnacle of dance music deserve to be mocked until their erronious music sensibilities are transmogried through the power of public humiliation. And yes, that last sentence was supposed to be confusing to the aforementioned tragic cases.

 

Again, in the unlikely event you chavs can interpret my thesaurus-exploding dialogue, I will stress this repeatedly: THIS IS JUST MY OPINION. It's not like I want someone throw a brick through my window, or drop a poo into my letterbox so all you chavs and chavettes bent on revenge can do something more productive with your time, like going out on the town to celebrate your first ASBO. MITM better be #1 though. At least Cacada have other shots at number 1 in the future, MJ doesn't. MITM is billions of times better than the low-budget commercialised schmite ETD is.
