Definately. I think I seen somewhere that 'Smile' is the next single? Good choice, but i hope 'Push' is a single at some point.

I think thats right, I saw an ad on tv last night and it advertised it with the single what the hell....and also smile, but it didnt actually say that was the new single. I perfer Push as well

RCA/RMG rocker Avril Lavigne returns with Goodbye Lullabye, her fourth studio album and first since 2007’s The Best Damn Thing, which appears headed for 85-90k

Oh Avril :( I wasn't expecting much, but I was expecting it to outsell Bionic! Perhaps it will rise.

I think if the singles are done right and are promoted enough it could have quite a lengthy chart run and decent sales overall. It seems like the only people who are unenthusiastic about this album are the record company

Oh no  only 85-90k projected? :(

This deserves to sell over 200k first week sales! Its such an amazing album, Avril poured her heart in most tracks too!

I hope it'll have the longevity and sell consistently. I cannot have another amazing album like this do a 'Bionic' :(

Decided to purchase this.

85-90k For America really isin't that bad and she should peak top 5!

Hope she somehow sneaks top 5 in the uk, she needs to get here and promote.

I still haven't got my copy of the album yet. I've pre-ordered the deluxe edition. It's driving me crazy - I need my new fix of Avril
I bought the album off Itunes too, first digital album I've ever bought :o

I agree the same way yet, even although I haven't listened to the album yet

Oh wow, the album dropped to #9 in UK now. Why ?? :-/

I don't know why because I love this album, this reminds me of her brilliant UMS

I love this too. Actually, i love all of her albums but can't believe she's doing that worse in Europe :puke2: :puke2: . I thought US is the first place that she became irrelevant but i'm so wrong. :puke2:

Mabye because she hasn't really established herself here as a big star again, she had minimal promotion, meaning a low top 20 charting single which isn't enough to get a #1 album off of. I haven't yet listened to this album as I am not an Avril fan and have never bought an Avril record before in my life but I have just listened to that T4 performance of 'Push' and its by far my favourite Avril song, its just gorgeous, so I think I will have to listen to the rest of it..

IKR ? The promotion was kind of a flop. She did some promo but most people has no idea about it :cheer:

Apparently, Wish You Were Here is the third and final single of the album and that the video will be shot next month. If true, then I'm very happy :D
Completely pointless now though. They really should try harder with her! :( They should get her a slot on X Factor with 'Wish You Were Here' it truly deserves to be a hit and is fats becoming one of my favourite Avril songs! Hope the video does it justice!
I loved 'Smile' alot, but it was never going to be a hit. 'Wish You Were Here' is very radio friendly but I doubt radio will want to play her now she's a flop. Shame.
Smile debuted at #94 in the US last week, and its currently #71 on itunes, according to wikipedia she's performing it at the teen choice awards on August 7, so it looks like they're still trying to push the song and album here.
