Mimed, but a great dance routine, and I can't think of a huge number of people who sing live on GMtv anyway.

 

Hopefully there will be more promo in the run up to the release - I too am gobsmacked R1 aren't playlisting, could've been a huge summer anthem.

Beverley Knight did on the two occasions she performed in her last era, but I think as a rule people lipsynch on GMTV. I think even Leona did, perhaps performing live so early in the morning is too much for most artists?

 

I'm also shocked at the lack of airplay this is getting, I would have thought Radio 1 getting the premiere at least meant they were interested in it. But perhaps the delay of the release means there's time? (though the delays are probably down to lack of airplay)

Yeah, Beverley, Lucie Silvas and Kelly Clarkson were the only ones that sprung to mind. Maybe GaGa did her Paparazzi perf live?

GMTV is the only place Leona consistently mimes at. There are a few singers who do sing live on it but they are in the minority. Vocally-challenging songs must be very difficult at that early time, especially for Jade with that routine as well.

True. ANyway, maybe there is time for R1 yet - i'm glad the single has been pushed back tbh :)

I was upset she mimed at GMTV but i have heard in the past that there is something wrong acoustically with the GMTV studio, thus why most people mime....

Also it's never on the tv/radio... it's an amazing song but looks like it's going to be badtimes for jade =[

Her record label must be furious, considering they've spent so much on her. I'd give it time yet, I don't see them letting it drop yet.

I think they will now. This could be a divert sort of thing on Jade's behalf. For example her knowing they will, but making it look like they won't so it comes off as more of a surprise? :unsure: (Not sure if artists actually know whether they're going to get playlisted though LOL)

She seems absolutely lovely (not that that'd get her playlisted though!) and with her being on a major BBC show representing the country, surely the BBC should be behind her?
