Seems early to be starting this but this year will be different what with the new audition format.

 

Sure most people know by now the auditions will be held in front of live audiences just like BGT.

 

These begin on Monday in London - I've got tickets so hopefully be able to report back on my 5 hour stint there :cheer:

 

Also this year - its 99% guaranteed now there will be a live Sunday night results show. So not pre-recorded like SCD. Cowell wants phone lines open for the 24 hours to make as much £££ as possible!

I'm so glad i didn't audition this year, i would not like to be judged in front of an audience that will be prepared to boo if i messed up. That's if i got throught to the judges auditions round.

I don't think they are this year. Theres a whole new set/stage apparently too.

 

Nice to see they don't get complacent after a successful year last year and work hard to keep it fresh!

I must be missing out - I never knew that we BGT'ing it all up this year!

This sounds soo good, but I'm going to miss the final and semi-final (:snif:) because I'm going to Tanzania :banana:

i hope there isn't loads of Booing. I think that'll just ruin the show.

Hmm, sounds quote good. I always thought doing the X-Factor in the same way as BGT is done would be better.

I'm not at all keen on the new audition formal, at least in principal. It's bad enough that the producers put deluded hopeless cases through to the judges (amusing though), but in front of a crowd of hundreds, laughing, it seems pretty cruel.
