I think Simon has by FAR the strongest group this year, two possible winners. Dannii also has a really strong group, Cheryl's isn't bad, and Louis really doesn't have a hope in hell.

Danyl is my favourite by FAR. I love him to the max

I reckon the first act to leave next week will be Lloyd Daniels, I can't see the two twats falling at the first hurdle, give them a week or 2 hopefully they dig themselves a grave in Week 3.

I think the first bottom 2 will be Kandy Rain x Rikki.

And Kandy Rain being the first eliminated acts.

I agree, which is a shame. As Rikki is my fourth favourite and I know Coco (blonde) from Kandy Rain. I hope they both manage to avoid it...
I think Kandy Rain are almost dead cert to go first unless they have a great first performance
I was at their original auditions and the positive comments shown on the ITV show were not actually for the PCD one they did - but for a Brownestone ballad. I think they need to do a big ballad or midtempo and prove the haters wrong with VOCALS, not routines. Don't think we've seen their best vocals.

Does anyone have anymore info on Whitney performing?

I heard it on the radio today that she was supposed to be performing on Sunday too! :o

I'm sure they would have promoted it if it was true, think its just gonna be Robbie and Alexandra

She's performing on the 18th, the day before the album comes out.

I wouldn't be surprised if she did an album track, thought it was interesting when they played the instrumental of "I Didn't Know My Own Strength" from the album on there a few weeks back. It'll probably be a bit late to be promoting the single by then anyway and it seems the sort of thing she'd perform for her first UK TV performance in ages.

I have a feeling it could be 'I Look To You' that she performs. Dunno why, but I just get a feeling LOL.

Thanks for clearing up the date too.

I hope not, that's the worst track on the album, but they seem to like it. I'd say it's gotta be one of the two, they're very much "look I'm back after all this time" songs, rather than the single.

Just thought I'd confirm it:

With less than 24 hours until the first live show of the series, we thought excitement levels were close to peaking - after all we already have last year’s X Factor queen Alexandra Burke, and pop colossus, Robbie Williams, confirmed as this week’s star guests…

But then we thought, wait a minute, let’s crank it to the next stratosphere, and bring in a name that sits happily alongside the likes of Elvis Presley, Diana Ross, and Michael Jackson in the legends hall of fame… ladies and gentlemen, Whitney Houston is set to perform on The X Factor!

The global superstar is due to perform her new single during next week’s results show, in what will be her first UK television performance in 12 years… and we’re not the only ones who are over the moon with the news.

Whitney says: “I have always loved my UK fans and I’m thrilled to perform for them on The X Factor. I am also a fan of Simon Cowell and I look forward to meeting him – it should be a fun night.”

A fun night doesn’t even come close; it’s going to be amazing, immense, monumental… well, you get the gist.

Be there or be nowhere, next Sunday 18th October Whitney Houston performs on The X Factor… remember the date.

so its Cheryl and Whitney next week haha that should be fun :D
Cheryl will be performing live? Oh LOL.

I'm sure she will have a lot of backing track, well I hope so

Isn't Shakira meant to be performing/mentoring one week also?

Also, have any song choices been confirmed at all?

I think Whitney will be performing 'Million Dollar Bill' :)

Let's hope Whitney does not pick up a container full of toiletaries in Cheryl's presence or there could be trouble....

To be honest Whitney's live vocals nowadays probably aren't a whole lot better than Cheryl's :heehee: Her voice is shot to hell and back.
