I'm not at all keen on the new audition formal, at least in principal. It's bad enough that the producers put deluded hopeless cases through to the judges (amusing though), but in front of a crowd of hundreds, laughing, it seems pretty cruel.

I kind of agree with you. I really want Dermot to go back to doing Big Brothers Little Brother. And bring back The Thornton :wub:

I don't like the BGT style auditions though. The whole magic of the XF is seeing people fall flat on their face in a silent room, without the crowd booing every second.

I think having spectated auditions will dilute the live shows.

I wont be supporting it this year. I'm sick of x factor being on the screen every-year, same sort of people on the show and them releasing a crappy single which gets to xmas no1 every year. There is no proper long-term investment into most of the acts and its just a money making spin.
