July 8, 200917 yr BIG YAY FOR ARCTIC MONKEYS AND BLOC PARTY! Pleased 'Audacity of Huge' has been playlisted too!
July 8, 200917 yr LOL at them putting Arctic Monkeys straight to A-List because it's shaping up to be a big hit. Radio 1 are such bandwagon jumpers. Happy for Pink and Beyonce. :) Edited July 8, 200917 yr by Rain
July 8, 200917 yr Author LOL at them putting Arctic Monkeys straight to A-List because it's shaping up to be a big hit. Radio 1 are such bandwagon jumpers. Happy for Pink and Beyonce. :) they would have A-listed it whether it was heading for a top10 or a top100.
July 8, 200917 yr I don't see why they haven't playlisted Sugababes or Jade Ewen when they both premiered this week :(
July 8, 200917 yr Okay I think I'm prepared to say this is the best playlist I have seen in ages. Good things: Arctics are added straight on to the A-List, which must be the first time that's happened since forever (:P) Chicane ARE A-List and not removed Pit and Tinch A-List on their third week, with the second of those still some time before release Jamei T still on the playlist BEP - IGF stright onto B-List Dizz up to B-List already with almost two months before release, A-List next week a la Never Leave You? Madina Lake B-List Danny Byrd still on the playlist Calvin added, it's continuing to grow on me as I start to hear it more often, absolutely adore it now Miike Snow C-List P!nk added Simian Mobile Disco added :cheer: BEP, TT and Veronicas finally booted (though I do like BEP and Vs, their longevity was slightly uncalled for) Kid British not hanging around long The Killers are also added with A Dustland Fairytale which is not shown Bad things: Nickelback and Kasabian (what the hell?) still A-List Maccabees and Marmaduke Duke already out Master Shortie still B-List Bloc Party, whose guts I hate, added Edited July 8, 200917 yr by B-rye
July 8, 200917 yr Bloc Party, whose guts I hate, added Ummm, why exactly? Oh and I completely agree with you, omrimayo!
July 8, 200917 yr Ummm, why exactly? Oh and I completely agree with you, omrimayo! Bloc Party are just awful imo. I have not heard OMC, but I'm gonna go with based on every single other thing they've made, it will suck massively. It doesn't help that my sis is a Bloc Party loon who plays all their songs constantly x_x
July 8, 200917 yr Shouldn't Mariah be making an appearance on this list round about now? Yeah, I thought that too
July 8, 200917 yr Nickelbacks record company must be plouging radio 1 with a lot of money to ensure Nickelback stay on their A list! I had the misfortune of hearing this song last week. It goes against their "so called" remit of being cool and upfront. Nickelback are mirror opposite to these credentials. Edited July 8, 200917 yr by ScottyEm
July 8, 200917 yr Yay for Arctic Monkeys !!! One of the best singles of the year  Glad for BEP too ^_^
