You gotta be kidding :o

lol

No, I'm not :o

Shakira was the best in the semi

It looks like I should've done!

I did consider sending the original, but I loved the remix, so decided to go with that instead - perhaps not a wise choice!

But if you sent the original, you certainly wouldn't have got as much as 8 from me. I definitely much prefer the remix, but I wonder how the original would have done in comparison. :o

Congratulations to the qualifiers!

Here's who I voted for that didn't get through:

8 - Zechonia: Placebo - Battle For The Sun

5 - Tinnmark: Venke Knutson - Kiss

4 - Nuxleyville: VV Brown - Everybody

My DNQs:

05 // 8. Hendinia: Ghostcat - Everybody On The Dancefloor

02 // 9. Britmasu: Jessie James - Wanted

01 // 23. Scherzland: Metro Station - Seventeen Forever

Thanks. :)

Thanks  I'm really hoping it can bring me a strong result :)

Can't believe it, did not qualify again :|

Jupiter Rising are quite BJSC friendly but the song choice wasn't a good one imo. If I were you I would have sent Electropop (one of my fave songs ever) although Flip My Switch did get a point off me.

"Electropop" has already failed to qualify in the past. :P Thought both songs were good, nearly voted for "Flip My Switch".

If i DNQ I'm sending Kasabian next month! <333

Me, Benny Andersson Band, no questions asked :kink:

I know it's going back to the very start of the thread, but I've always wondered why people always say they will take a risk next time if they don't qualify? Surely it should be the other way around, and if you DNQ then next time you'll want to get a good result, and if you finish top ten or something this time then you'd feel more comfortable to enter a risky entry next time?

Just a thought.

Yay!!! Thanks for voting...I really wasn't sure Marie would qualify :D

I hope the people who weren't too amused at my little stunt last time have forgiven me :P

I'm not too happy with being placed right after Rosanna though (who incidentally I didn't realise was Swedish!), I bet that's killed my entry off.

I know what you mean Peter, but for me, a DNQ would mean I needed to change my tactics, and therefore make a radical departure to what I'm sedning, but seen as I have a top ten streak to maintain, it seems what I'm doing right now is fine and I don't need to take risks... If I come last in the final though, I might rethink this

 at Solange :(

Don't won't to sound TOO COCKY but i wasn't worried about Florence not qualifying :kink:

Zechonia Placebo Battle For The Sun 12

People's Republic Of Jester Ear Pwr Future Eyes 7

Frahliso Plastiscines Barcelona 4

Liechenstaan Calvin Harris Ready For The Weekend 3 - It didn't qualify :o

Wow, thx. :o

I gave you points, too. :kink:

Like Tom said, if you have a 'DNQ' you might want changing tactics to see what other way could bring you. And you totally do not feel worried about good result anymore once you DNQd for the first time. When I DNQ'd I've sent Caroline Af Ugglas next contest, was probably my riskiest entry after Hande Yener. :o And, of course, I wouldn't 'play safe' if I had a free pass to the final in the next contest, but this depends only on which songs i will obsessed with at the time of the confirmation.

I couldn't care less about how my entries perform to be honest, I stopped caring as soon as Mira DNQ'd back in X and risks are always fun (see Example :heehee:)

finishing top ten is a bonus, but the real bonus is knowing that you're not 'playing for a specific result' as it sucks the fun out of choosing an entry
