I'm not sure 'Breaking Dawn' will get anywhere NEAR TDH. Sorry to bring up a topic from a couple of pages back but I think the Twilight saga is being overestimated. 'Eclipse' didn't even do as well as 'New Moon' in total gross from what I recall and Harry Potter has far more appeal to a wider audience whereas I feel Twilight only addresses a certain group.

I am so thrilled the last film passed a billion. It's definitely the best of the 8. I also hope it can overtake 'Pirates of The Carribean' and become the top film of the year!

I'm sad to see 'Prisoner Of Azkaban' the least successful ( ) out of the Harry Potters :( It's my personal favourite, along with the last two films.

Prisoner Of Azkaban sold more than all the twilight films :kink:

Which is another reason as to why I don't think the last 'Twilight' film will be a threat to Harry Potter's record breaking final film.

It'll probably do about as well as POA. Or at maximum match GOF's success.

Mine too, Jon!

Same! :( Although I'd add Order of the Phoenix into my top four of the films. :D

I think the last film is my favourite. Goblet and Order would tie for #2 I feel.

Azkaban 4th and then I'm not really sure about the other 4. There wasn't a bad one amongst them but I always preferred the books a lot more.

I just can't seem to let Harry go  :( I'm writing essays on the series and taking a module in Children's Literature this year at uni with the sole intention of studying it heh. It feels like you've lost something you've had in your life since you were about 11 (how old I was when I read the first one - I'm now 23 :(). These characters and the world are some of the best I have ever seen explored in a piece of literature and I study literature daily! Most of the great books/movies/tv series I like have one or two characters that leap out of the page and stay with you after you've finished, but with HP I think what's so amazing is that EVERY character does that.

I also think we should have like a character rate or something to celebrate the end of such an amazing series.

I am totally with GrAmii about the character rate! :o it would be a great way to celebrate its ending. ^_^

With the looks of thing's you can guess which eight people will get my votes by just looking at my siggie :kink:

As long as it you know... It actually gets finished :heehee:

So who's good at doing rates and is willing to do the HP: character rate ? :P

We all know what would happen to a #failrate :kink:

James is good at getting things finished. It's only when he's aided by Jark that lets him down. So if he promises it to be a character rate that he's solely organising, then it will be finished when James says it will. Results might take about 3 or 4 days to compile and get through, but we'll get the full countdown within a week or so!
