it's one of my favourite tricks, and if you butn them to a CD-RW, you're not wasting any money by wasting a blank disc, as you can delete the tracks once you've ripped them back :D

probably won't let you past the iTunes restrictions on paid for downloaded songs

 

burning the songs to a disc removes takes away the copy protection when you rip it back
