If your including the X Factor Finalists and Hero. Then you need to also include the Pop Idol 2 Xmas Single Happy Xmas which got to number 5

Andy Scott Lee was a Pop Idol loser, but had a career before that in 3sl does that count ? Take It Easy Number 11 and Touch Me Tease Me Number 16 in 2002

o-town - do they count? they were from a US reality TV show

With Idols and X-Factor finalists added. I don't think Andy Scott-Lee counts as his hits were before he appeared on reality TV.

Also, I expect Laura White to have a hit before the year is out :w00t:

Oh I hope not.

She made my hymen bleed, and can not sing at all.

You also missed off Gareth and Will's Long and Winding Road Number 1 - although that half a winner and half a loser so dunno how that works for the list??

That could've been more appropriate.

I think it could be added, but make a note of the artists in the track?

The X Factor Finalists 2008 - Hero is 20/21 talent show losers, with Alexandra Burke as the only non-talent show loser.

(I know I suggested that song :P)

Alistair Griffin had 2 top 40 singles

27/03/2004 Alistair Griffin You And Me (Tonight) 18 {18}-48-63->3

I loved that one ^_^ :kink:

What about Jennifer Hudson?

She was on American Idol if I can remember. ^_^

Not really as loser as such but Lil Chris had a couple of songs. He didn't really win or lose on Rock School but he did lost on Celebrity Scissorhands so I suppose he could be counted

Hazel Kaneswarren who got kicked off (Popstars The Rivals?) because she was over the age limit - think she had made the final 10 otherwise. As well as having a couple of solo hits in Ireland made the UK Top 40 back in September 1999 as singer with Dove who got to 37 with their version of Don't Dream It's Over.
It has yet to happen, but after Girls Can't Catch inevitably hit the top 40 in the coming week, they should be added - Phoebe from GCC was originally a member of failed X-Factor girl group Hope.

The Saturdays should be on their aswell as Mollie has auditioned multiple times for the x factor. But they do have 2 winners in Frankie and Rochelle as they both won their spot in s club juniors.
  • 4 months later...

Time for a little revival here maybe?

Daughtry #11, JLS #1, X Factor Finalists 09 #1, Laura White #32.

Sinead Quinn. I loved her and 'I Can't Break Down' :kink:

I randomly met her last year, she was really lovely... and short.

She did deserve better though. 'What You Need Is...' was a truly class pop song.
