July 20, 200916 yr I think your estimates for all the Take That older songs are a bit out of date - so I'm assuming all of your figures are. I know for a fact that Back For Good has sold over 900,000 and as awful a song as Babe was - that has sales in excess of 600,000. I'm assuming the sales figures for some of the other 'earlier' acts may be incorrect too. Norma Yep - I think you've taken your figures for their 'first time round era' up until 1999 only. Was aired in late 2008. Sales pre-late 90s time have been revised in recent years. At the time, the sales were too over-estimated. The OCC revised figures had Back For Good at 725,000 and Babe at 460,000. I mean - BFG sold about 350K in its first week of release so I'm pretty sure the 900,000 plus figure is correct. The program I watched also showed Babe and HDIYL as having sales in excess of 600,000. BFG could have sold more since 1999 on download format. How much it has sold since then I'm not exactly sure, it could be as high as 900,000. I know that when Babe was originally released it was awarded a platinum disc by the BPI for 600,000 Shipments in 1994. However the retail figure to the end of 1999 at the time was 410,000. Whether the TV program were using the BPI figure or the total now including recent download sales? I don't know.

July 25, 200915 yr Back For Good - Take That (1995) It sold 725,000 in the 1990s. It is not included in a top twenty list of biggest selling downloads of singles from the 1990s published in Music Week on 11th July 2009. The top twenty I estimate all sold over 40,000 downloads since 2004. Basing an estimate on other 1990s singles (like Spice Girls sales since 1999) I guess that it is likely to have sold between 750,000 and 760,000 to date.
