I agree - I think Rontvia & Mdice both get loads of attention. Don't take offence by this but I really doubt that Firefox AK would've got Top 10 had it been sent by a country like...Zechonia for example.

 

it's not like I can do anything to stop such things happening :lol: I haven't hyped Kongulo (or any of my entries anymore) so if people are liking them then I appreciate the support ^_^

 

obviously the countries that have form will have high expectations so I agree that maybe people pay more attention/anticipate the songs from these countries more, but still, I'm not forcing anyone to vote for them, I always vote for my favourite song, not my favourite country and I like to hope everybody else does the same :o

Oh, I'm not blaming anything on you or saying there's anything you can do - but it's true that you do get more recognition for your songs than I think over countries may get if they were to send the same entry. However, I vote for songs not countries, I just hope that's the case with everyone :)

Utopia's entry is possibly the third best entry i've ever seen in this contest though. :wub: Beats all of my entries apart from Uprising and Sweet 16 in my opinion. :)

So do I when I couple the links to the tracks to a spreadsheet from which I rate the tracks.

 

Hence that is why my voting history for other countries has been so wide spread, as I deliberately don't want to favour for or against a country, I judge purely on rating the song (+ the handcap system I incorporate) to come to my results.
