Am I the only one who notices that whenever a popular song comes out that lights up the charts and does really well, some attention seeking little nerk crawls out from under a stone and squeaks in their tiny little voice "am I the only one who thinks.."

But true nonetheless. You just wait and see, they'll all come out of the woodwork next week for the release of Sugababes " Get Sexy", then with Madonna's "Celebration", Shakira's "She Wolf" etc. I can see it becoming like a procession for the insignificent nobodies to have nothing to add to the thread other than condemnation of a mainstream hit. And most won't even be able to tell us why, they'll just feel all important that they're DIFFERENT FROM EVERYBODY ELSE. Quite pathetic really..

:lol: Are you sure about that? There are always people who like the song and others who don't. And why should they stop saying what they really think? :) And 'Am I the only person' is just a popular phrase, no more than that. Maybe some of them do really want to rise their self-appraisal in that way, but I wouldn't say this about ALL people - it's not true then and is very maximalistic and I would say childish...

I'm referring to people who happen to have less than 10 posts or so, the ones who poke their head above the parapets for a second before quickly disappearing into blissful obscurity. I'm in no way generalising everyone who holds a dissenting view into the same category, just the individuals who have silly usernames like jls4ever or kyliesdiscopants who troll a little and are never heard from again. Obviously long term members like you are fine, I just hate one-post wonder newbies who have nothing to contribute but negativity and vitriol. Okay, rant over :P

Perhaps it's because that person sees that a lot of people are liking it and i wondering if anyone else has the same opinion as him.
