I remember Alan`s early Sunday morning show, back in the 70s on Radio 210! Always find Alan boring in real life, let alone the books. His knowledge of the garden is excellent, though. August 21, 200915 yr I do wonder if Buster Bloodvessel is still running a B&B somewhere  ;) Kim Wilde was rather fit in those days  ;) I had a massive crush on her. I was gutted when Kids In America never made #1 Tainted Love, Vienna and Love Action, my favourite singles of the year, along with Kids In America. And finally one of the best Bond Themes -> For Your Eyes Only oops one last thing I just remembered a controversial video for Girls On Film for Duran Duran, with 2 girls in a Boxing ring  and loads of bare flesh ;)
August 21, 200915 yr Hopefully, 'Say It' won't flop. :( TBH Say It isn't their best imo. I loved Shine and Boogie 2nite

August 21, 200915 yr The Top Albums in Aug 1981: With the 2nd of 4 weeks at the top for ELO, as Cliff wouldn`t go away after 4 weeks there himself! Ever bound Meat Loaf too... 13 17 THIS OLE HOUSE - SHAKIN`STEVENS This is about to appear on CD later this year! A very small number were pressed in the late 80s but it is extremely hard to come by now. From around the middle of October it will available as part of a 10CD box set which will have 9 of his Epic albums - including bonus tracks - and a CD of extended versions. Much of this material was only ever available on vinyl and cassette until now.

Much of this material was only ever available on vinyl and cassette until now. That`s good to know. It seems when ever there is an 80s retro show on the Radio, they always play the obvious ones. I mean you never hear Teardrops, A Little Boogie Woogie, Give Me Your Heart Tonight etc. Which is a shame because Shaky did some great songs away from This Ole House, and You Drive Me Crazy.
August 21, 200915 yr woah aliens in the attic has outsold bandslam in the box office. i didn't see that coming.
August 21, 200915 yr 19 43 THE THIN WAR - ULTRAVOX...The Biggest Climber, but couldn`t match "Vienna" Was actually The Thin Wall!
