Not Afraid is the first track :heehee: Your tracks must be in the wrong order from the stupid uploader.

Anyway, I take back everything I said about la Rihanna collab <3

Yeah...'Cold Wind Blows' is track 1, James.

I love 'Almost Famous' - does anyone know the sample used? It's quite creepy but I love it.

Oh mannn, Play.com tells me the tracklist is as follows:

1. Not Afraid

2. Won't Back Down

3. No Love

4. Cinderella Man

5. Space Bound

6. Almost Famous

7. Love The Way You Lie

8. You're Never Over

9. Untitled

10. Cold Wind Blows

11. Talkin' 2 Myself

12. On Fire

13. W.T.P.

14. Going Through Changes

15. Seduction

16. 25 To Life Album

17. So Bad

I trusted it more than Wiki, dang :(

This is much better than Relapse :w00t:

"Cold Wind Blows" - Great intro, his flow is insane. Fun opening with a Mariah (I am a fan though!) & Michael J Fox jab in there...

"Talkin' 2 Myself" featuring Kobe - Unbelievable hook, with meaningful lyrics from Em. Hot production, but the hook is what kills this one. One of his best tracks to date, in my opinion.

"On Fire" - Wow, Em goes hard on this. Very "street". Great production, too.

"Won't Back Down" featuring Pink - OK hook, but underwhelming if I'm honest. The positive is the lyrical wordplay by Eminem.

"W.T.P." - This is a banger, but I actually think the beat is a little uninspired? Hm, not sure on this. I like the thought behind the song though ("white trash party").

"Going Through Changes" - Another "wow" moment on the record. This is great, the Black Sabbath sample is pretty cool. Beat is basic, like most of the album, but it's fine because this is just CLASSIC Em!

"Not Afraid" - Reflective song with an anthemic chorus. Perfect choice as the lead single, and it's in the top half of this album (with regards to quality). Love the snares.

"Seduction" - Another great production from Boi-1da. The flow complements the beat really well. Smooth hook & track overall.

"No Love" featuring Lil' Wayne - HOLY CRAP! The punchlines in this are out of the world. Seriously, easily one of the standout tracks on "Recovery". The "What is Love?" sample is weird, but works so well. Em does kill Weezy, but even Wayne's haters have been praising his verse as they both went hard. One of Just Blaze's hottest beats.

"Space Bound" - A different sound, definitely, but very chilling. The chorus & build is epic. A personal favorite on this record.

"Cinderella Man" - Another anthem! Again, it's a different sound for Em but it's great. The hook is epic. An instant favorite.

"25 to Life" - The hook is sung by the singer in the New Royales, apparently. The production is pretty slick, and Em's verses are good. The message behind this song is really intriguing.

"So Bad" - Typical Eminem & Dr. Dre. The beat is crazy & very memorable. Classic Em, once again - confident & triumphant.

"Almost Famous" - Banger, the chorus definitely is not comforting but the whole vibe of the song is extremely dark. The drums are great on this.

"Love the Way You Lie" featuring Rihanna - Production is a little weak, but Rihanna's hook is simply perfect. This sounds like it could be the biggest hit off the CD, even if it's not the best (although it is very good).

"You're Never Over"- OK, the chorus is wack, but the production is hot. It's OK, because although he sings the chorus and can't actually hold a note, it's as if he purposely did this to say "f*** you, this is from the heart" as it's dedicated to Proof.

"Untitled" or "Here We Go", whatever the hidden track is called - Nice production, Em is very aggressive on this.

The album is seriously great. Has overtaken "Thank Me Later" for my pick as album of the year so far. That may change, as I stan for Drake, but damn, this is Em's return. I'd say MMLP>Recovery>SSLP>TES>Relapse>Encore, but it's still early days and hard to tell if a record will become a classic less than 24 hours after it's release. Either way, it's better than "Relapse" (and I quite like that record) that holds some comedic Em (jabs at Mariah, Michael J Fox etc.) & the meaningful lyrics he's been praised for in the past.

Just got round to giving this a first listen. It's actually surprisingly good. I like how it's an album full of his serious sound as opposed to the novelty crap he keeps coming out with.

Literally half way through at the moment and my early faves are: 'Not Afraid', 'No Love' (feat. Lil' Wayne) & 'Space Bound' (and obviously 'Love The way You Lie' - but not to that track yet :P). 'Talkin' 2 Myself' (feat. Kobe) sounds like a grower to me too. I never thought I'd say this, but Pink's track is actually the weakest for me.

Bought it today and after 2 listens, good album but hey I still prefer Relapse.

I'm quite late, but 'Not Afraid' has seriously grown on me so much now! When I first heard it I thought it was OK, but not a great track. After I heard 'Love The Way You Lie' though (which is brilliant), I decided to listen to it again and now I think it's brilliant!

I gave the album a listen as well, and I think it is brilliant. It seems really serious and I think it's definitely better than 'Relapse'.

His performance at T In The Park on Saturday was absolutely mind blowing. The best performance i've ever seen, and that's saying something. Em is well are truely back
BBC showed Love The Way You Lie and Not Afraid at t in the park on tv, jealous of anyone who was there, really shows that despite how bad Relapse was he still has it.

Love The Way You Lie Video

I quite like this :o Megan and the guy from Lost are quite good in this

Agreed. I've already stated what I think about the video in the Rihanna forum
Rihanna looks alot like Mary J Blige! :o Anyway, great video! Megan is phitttttt.
One of the best videos of this year. And maybe one of the best by Eminem. I love movie-videoclips!

I've heard that 'Space Bound' is the next single and I really like the sound of it. Not sure how it will do after 'No Love' didn't do great, but I suppose this will be the 4th single...

Maybe I should give the entire album a listen, really liking all of the singles :o
