August 30, 200916 yr I don't even get excited by mids anymore  I complained charts were too fast 5 years ago but they've down to the point that I'll only have to tune in every two months to actually notice any change. Especially as no.1 seems reserved for only certain artists these days (Dizzie, BEPs, Tinchy and Guetta)
August 30, 200916 yr Looking at the list of all Luther's entries, I'm ashamed to admit that the only songs I really remember from it are his duets with Mariah and Janet... Although I've been following the charts for 15 years now, his songs seem to be somehow quite forgettable for me. I even completely forgot the "Dance With My Father" tune. Maybe it's because it's nothing special... Anyway, I love Pixie's track  good she's back! I use to hear on dance radios Luther's version of Shine which is pretty good imo. And it was released before Booty Luv. I didn't know that :o

This happened too last year.
August 30, 200916 yr  Budapest is indeed a beautiful city. Do you live there, Ben? I'm thinking to come back there soon :P About time to start skipping Keri Hilson and Jordin Sparks - both so overrated. T.I. & the unique Mary J. Blige sound really not bad together. :)
August 30, 200916 yr Finally back from my hols... sorry I'm a bit late guys  Poker Face evidently gone... but good for Clvin holding, La Roux still in, Luther being #38, etc. etc. And T.I. Was expecting a total flop, but #34 isn't too bad seeing as his firearms crime would have alienated some of his fans or something. Lol @ KoL back. #33 higher than expected for this week actually. Top 10 next week? Edited August 30, 200916 yr by B-rye
August 30, 200916 yr 33 (from 49) Kings Of Leon - Sex On Fire [P] http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/88697352002.JPG Chart Run: 1-1-1-2-2-4-4-5-11-13-13-17-14-15-21-12-11-12-14-19-18-23-19-14-16-22-23-29-31-27-30-29-37-40-39-47-53-52-60-54-50-68-xx(2 wks)-74-70-61-51-45-49-33 [49 wks] Release date: 15-9-2008 Availability: in stock Number of Discs: 1 Catalogue Number: 88697352002 Label: COLUMBIA Though Tennessee's Kings of Leon are a rock band from the south, that doesn't mean they're a Southern Rock band. The Followill brothers Caleb, Jared, and Nathan (along with their cousin Matthew) play a straight-ahead, hard-driving brand of rock & roll that owes more to Crazy Horse and the Rolling Stones than it does to Molly Hatchet. Their debut album, 2003's YOUTH & YOUNG MANHOOD showed them to be an earthier equivalent to garage-rock contemporaries like the White Stripes and the Strokes. - HMV Video here: Chart history (Year peak title): 2003 53 Holy Roller Novocaine EP 2003 22 What I Saw EP 2003 23 Molly's Chambers 2003 51 Wasted Time 2004 61 California Waiting 2004 16 The Bucket 2005 24 Four Kicks 2005 41 King Of The Rodeo 2007 18 On Call 2007 13 Fans 2008 01 Sex On Fire 2008 02 Use Somebody 2009 29 Revelry Album Discussion Thread Here

Maybe it's because it's nothing special... Anyway, I love Pixie's track  good she's back! I think Luther probably just doesn't get played very much these days. I'm surprised how many #1s he's had! I can only remember Never Too Much.. vaguely.

August 30, 200916 yr I was gonna say it's amazing how quickly Sex On Fire re-entered but I suppose if it was still at 49 last week anyway it isn't that shocking is it
