UGH. FrankMusik is a total twat who is desperate for fame anyway. I wouldn't trust a word that comes out of his mouth.

Plus, his music's absolute $h!te.

'Parachute' is by far my favourite track on the album, followed by '3 Words', 'Stand Up' and 'Heaven'. (Obvs FFTL is up there with 'Parachute' too though)

FFTL is now my 12th most played song EVER, according to my last.fm account.

I still love it.

Haven't done a proper review yet, but surprisingly enough I love the album

I was a bit scared due to the Popjustice review, but I find myself enjoying it a lot, and playing it on repeat for the last 3 days.

***** (love it so much it hurts)

Fight For This Love

Parachute

3 words

Don't talk about this love

**** (love it)

Rain on me

Heaven

Didn't I

*** (like it and feel they're growers)

Boy like you

Happy hour

Stand up

** ermm

Make me cry (the chorus is too flat/repetitive, a shame cause I like the verses A LOT)

Heartbreaker (she should have done a new mix of it with her on main vocals)

I feel most of the songs will grow on me though, at the moment I give the album a strong 7.5/10, and I think it could improve to a 8.5 in a week or two.

Not "pop" enough for me to give it a 9/10 and above though. And it's nice to have her credited on 5 songs! :)

Very pleasant and solid album.

Fucking prick, how dare he!? He posted his song on 23rd September. Cheryl spent 9 months writing/recording her album = her song came first. Fucking jerk. Who does he think he is?

Nuff said -_-

OTT Much?

He's just reacting how anyone else would react if they were in the same shoes. It's not like he's personally insulted her or anything.

Either way, they both sample Fleetwood Mac anyway so it's plagarism (Unless they got approval from F/Mac or whoever obviously :P) on both counts. So he's wrong for moaning she ripped off "his song" when in fact they both sample another. But to call him a "f***ing prick" and "f***ing jerk" is a tad OTT imo and not needed at all.

Ok so i got the album in the post yesterday (which is strange since it's not even meant to be released yet lol) and i can't help but feel that there is something distinctly lacking with the album. First of all, it seems rushed and too short....i mean 11 tracks? with one of them being a song that she only features on tacked on at the end!!! hmmmm. Also, there is FAR too much Will.I.Am - i mean, he is on 4 of the tracks!!!!!

There are some songs that i really like though don't get me wrong (Fight for this love, 3 words, parachute, rain on me, stand up, boy like you etc), with some VERY bland ones also, mainly Make Me Cry and Don't Talk About This Love!!!! I don't know....i'd say its only a 3 star album, and I can't help but feeling a bit disappointed :(

Happy Hour, Parachute and Stand Up should really be released. 3 Words shouldnt! :(
Cheryl Cole: 3 Words

Over here, Girls Aloud have been a national treasure for so long

that you’d be forgiven for thinking they’d gone global some time

ago. South of Dover, however, their Xenomania-penned oeuvre is

as trees falling in a deserted forest. Amazingly, all of America —

even the gay bits — proceeds in resounding ignorance of high pop

watermarks such as Biology, The Promise and Love Machine.

“More fool them,” we Brits might say, and leave it at that. However,

for the newly solo Cheryl Cole, this is no time for sentimental

attachments. We’ll never know the exact contents of the mission

statement scrawled in the glow of overhead projectors at planning

meetings for 3 Words. But the list of personnel here affords a good

guess. With Xenomania “rested”, it’s Black Eyed Peas’ will.i.am

who establishes the sonic template. And on the title track, the

trade-off seems a good one. Alas, its euphoric electroglide sets a

standard that is not maintained.

Those of us who have met Cole, seen her on The X Factor even,

can attest that she has a personality. Sadly, it’s one absent from

mid-paced fillers such as Don’t Talk About This Love and the

mystifyingly drab single Fight for This Love. Unbelievably, five

people wrote Rain on Me, and yet its knackered lyrical conceit —

she wants it to rain so people can’t see her tears — bounds along

with all the grace of a one-wheeled rickshaw.

Stick at it long enough and there’s relief in the hands-aloft

dancepop of Stand Up and, better still, the Soulshock and Karlin-

penned Happy Hour, the only song that emulates the off-beam

earworms of Xenomania. But even when 3 Words gives you

something to admire, the emotional temperature rarely nudges

above frosty. Emblematic of the loveless ambience is

Heartbreaker — a 2007 will.i.am single seemingly featured here

because Cole sings backing vocals on it. If this is really the best

that her “team” can do, then another 3 Words spring to mind. Sack

them all.

Not a very good review :(

Yeah, but most of the reviews have been 3-star or less basically :(

Erm, I think so. I think music comes out on a Friday in Ireland.

Oh, and on a side note, I added the writing credits to the first post. Surprised to see Cheryl has 4 co-writing credits, bringing her total of this project to 5. :)

The fan edition looks amazing  Far better than the OOC Deluxe DVD

I have a feeling this might beat MJ to #1 this week, although it's probably me hoping too much. ^_^
I think it's going to be a close one, I think a lot of people got the MJ buying out of their systems, and it's basically a GH with This Is It on it.

Finally got the album, and here's my first listen rate ^_^

08.0 • "3 Words" Still really good, gets better after a few listens

09.0 • "Parachute" Amazing.

08.5 • "Heaven" Oh how cute? :o Love this one, she sounds a bit like Nicola in parts :)

10.0 • "Fight For This Love" Still love this, one of my favourite tracks all year

08.5 • "Rain On Me" Another great one, the chorus is epic.

08.0 • "Make Me Cry" The intro annoyed me, with the chorus repeated, but once the verses came, it's killer

08.5 • "Happy Hour" The demo promised so much, and it turns out to be even more epic <3 Priscilla ftw

09.0 • "Stand Up" Well after hearing the 1-minute clip, I loved it, then hearing the chorus and verses is even better XD OH NO@ Taio's plugging of his shades

07.5 • "Don't Talk About This Love" We found ourself a F.I.L.L.E.R. :( The verses are nice, but the chorus is quite bland

08.0 • "Boy Like You" My least favourite of the will.i.am tracks, I like the chorus though

Mkay, so WTF were all them papers/reviewers on about? ._. 3 stars my back-side. I love it, and she doesn't deserve all this stick

Anyway, about the MJ situation, Cheryl's currently #1 on Dave Taylor's Sunday chart preview, which is most of the time accurate :)

Oh, and on the subject of 'Heartbreaker', it isn't just the original tacked onto the end. It's a slightly different version, and Cheryl has much more lines! :D

I love it! Fave are Rain On Me, 3 Words, Parachute.

I think the bad/average reviews are doing the same as I do when describing the album - it's good, but no GA. And tbh that's unfair - but I find myself thinking it all the time which makes me think well if GA albums are 4/5 out of 5, Cheryl can only be 3 - but it is mega - just not as good as GA. Not what I would call a 3 star album by my usual standards.

really??? it sounds just like the single/video version to me??

I got it yesterday morning and tbh I am a little bit disappointed. Some of the songs are great (3 Words, Parachute, Rain On Me, Stand Up) but as a whole it doesn't seem to hold up as a very strong album and there's nothing to equal or better Fight For This Love. It's nowhere near the quality of a GA album but I suppose it is a little bit unfair to compare the two. I like it- a lot- but I don't love it like I expected I would. Maybe that's my problem, I was expecting too much?
