It used to be that if you mentioned it in your national thread first, it was yours but this all changed when the reservation thread came in and the guilt free free-for-all started :lol: Still, I'll fight for the acts I want the most and if I don't get them I don't care over much - I usually find something I like more in the following two weeks anyway! It's happened loads of times that somebody else has reserved and sent an act I wanted only for me to find something that I like much more that has done much better in the contest!

It's more of a potential one of many as opposed to being a definitive entry. I'm more mulling things over out loud. If Dre is really dead set on sending it then I have no problem with him doing so.

Well it's not that i'm super set on it, it's more like my only choice for the next contest :P But I do really love it haha, found it on a dutch website ;) I'll see if I can find alternatives, otherwise I may just have to give this contest a pass. I mean I have found some rather cool alternative indie-dance tracks that could do well, but I dont think I should go down that route just to do well, I prefer sending something I really enjoy :) I'll keep looking just in case ;)

Honestly, it's no problem. I know I'll be fighting over my top choice of song/artist but it seems like everyone will be this month but this was just a backup that I thought I'd post up - it sounds like you love it more than me so you should send it :D

Yes, well that's when the final voting week will be anyway - 5/6-ish weeks according to the dates Rob gave. So I think I'll have a very different potential entries list by that point!

In my opinion it would be better to have a month off BJSC in the summer, as most of us probably go on holiday in that time period :)

RTVN speak out about XXVI

 

Ricardo Delta, newly appointed spokesperson for the BJSC branch of the RTVN, has been speaking out about BJSCXXVI in Hendinia, regarding the entry selection process as well as plans for change. 'We always welcome change with open arms here in FSR Rontvia, and we think that it's great that the contest is still evolving, two and a half years after it started. As the second most successful country, we have proved that we can adapt to the changes, although the current indie boom is proving problematic and our top 3's have turned into top 15's now! We really like the one big final idea, but the 'second chance' round would also have its advantages too.' Asked what to expect from FSR Rontvia in Hendinia, Mr Delta said 'we have some great acts and songs lined up, sadly one of them is on a two way contract with Numayania and have said that they will only represent the country that pays the highest for them at auction on artist reservation opening day. Our BJSC budget is huge of course but Numayania's could be even bigger, they've had so much success and managed to host two contests in this recent recession with no financial problems.' StarShell has dropped out of the running for FSR Rontvia and it's been confirmed that we will not be attempting to reserve said act. Instead some new clues have leaked about the five current possibilities;
