September 10, 200915 yr Why is it so quiet in here this month? D: Just submitted my votes. Poor month. I feel only my top 5 would receive points in a normal contest and even my 12 would usually be on for a 7/8 at most. It's not that I didn't like the songs, after my top 5 I liked the next 15 about the same, they were all 'good' but didn't scream 'give me points'. I think I managed to pick the correct 5 of that big batch though.

I think I managed to pick the correct 5 of that big batch though. maybe the BJSC bubble has finally burst :snif: I would think it owes more to the fact that this is generally perceived as a weak contests...plus a lot of the songs I love I already knew before so there aren't many amazing discoveries going on, maybe 5 at most for me, and I could have easily lived without hearing 2 of those :heehee: I'm looking forward to seeing what XXI throws up, I expect everyone will be dipping into different genres to avoid another fempop washout :heehee: then again, BJSC winners are always fempop so it's obvious why people pick them the three songs I'm thinking about for next month couldn't be more different from my entry this month, I never wheel out the same genre in consecutive contests :heehee:
