BJSC XXIV - Vision 2010 - The Search For A Star

 

 

Lorelei Carlson is the 4th artist to be included in the ASC's plans for XXIV domination. The american star who appeared for Ashton at XIII with her song Alone is being lined up to sing Freakin Dumb in Quotosibb.

 

 

The song can be heard on her Myspace and a video is due shortly.

Ashton XXIV - Confirmation of Entry

 

The ASC today confirmed that Kristiina Brask had been chosen by internal selection to represent the Federal Republic Of Ashton in Quotosibb for the 24th Buzzjack Song Contest. The Republic's first full entry not to be sung in english is sung in Finnish and see's the country return to it's Risks FTW strategy.

 

The ASC and SNA have pledged to bring a contest to Ashton in 2010 in their Vision 2010 proposal, they have also pledged to use the most innovative and inspired entries they can to best represent the country in the new year. The Republic, who recently proposed new anti-cheap regulations with the other Buzzjack Broadcasting Union Moderation Countries, are continuing with their Risks FTW strategy despite it being highly unpopular with the Ashtonise public. The President asked the public to support the ASC and SNA as they continue to support the strategy. The President said that 'Good things come to those who wait' and has confirmed that funding for the ASC and BJSC will be increased in the new budget.

 

With XXIV already signed off, the ASC has begun work on XXV. XXV is the last contest in the current 25contest deal that Fotherington Islands signed when they joined the contest at it's inception. Contract negotiations are underway between the ASC and the BJBU which could see Ashton sign up for a further 25 contests. It's is rumoured that Ashton is seeking a Get out for free clause in the contract allowing the country to pull out of the contest without financial penalties.

 

 

Kristiina Brask will be singing Kuivilla Susta in XXIV. Promotional details are due to be released during the reservation stage.
