Tone finishes 2nd with Look Back

 

The Federal Republic are pleased to announce that Tone Damli Aaberge has finished second in the forty first Buzzjack Song Contest. Look Back scored two hundred and three points on her way to a top three placing. This is Ashton's third runner-up track and only fourth top three finisher. The ASC and SNÁ are thrilled that Tone Damli reached their goal of a top five placing to start the year off with a bang.

 

The Federal Republic of Ashton will reclaim third position in the all time rankings after outscoring Mdice by over one hundred points.

I didn't think the win was mine. It was looking that way but nothing is certain in BJSC. Although it was nice to get to be confident in my own entry and see people predicting it to do well. Now, if all those who discovered Tone Damli through this go on to become fans of her then my job is more than done.

I'm not a fan of her, because I used to loon Ashley Tisdale for nearly 2 years and this Tone Damli looks nearly exactly like her! I am a fan of the song though, if that pleases you :D

I don't really understand that reason for not liking someone at all (I too love the Tis and don't see the similarity) if I'm honest.

 

 

I will however take a fan of Look Back over a fan of nothing! ^_^

Not to mention to be a fan of them, I will undoubtfully need to see her personality at shows, hear her live performances on YouTube. I always become fans of artists who have a good personality :wub:

I love her live performances. :wub: From the little Norwegian I understand, she has a wonderful personality. She's also done a gig in America which is partially on youtube and she actually speaks English!

 

 

She's quite cute and shy and humble and just adorable. Plus, I absolutely LOVE Still and this is a pretty good performance of it.

Melodi Grand Prix Áskorza set for return?

 

There are rumours that the ASC and SNÁ are to hold a national final to find the follow up to the unexpected smash hit that was Look Back. With the ASC and SNÁ having a bust up mid way through the last MGPÁ the show has a turbulent past. Sources within Ashton House, home to both the ASC and SNÁ, say the broadcaster and government department have been working closely to provide a substantial list of hits and to prevent the scandalous voting problems that plagued the Southern Cross Broadcasting hosted final. Tone Damli Aaberge has been heavily linked with the project, with sources saying ILYProductions have outbid Red Blooded Productions. The soundtrack rights is rumoured to have been handed to Grandmono Records, home to Caro Emerald.

 

Since the last MGPÁ the ASC and SNÁ's working relationship has infinitely improved and the Federal Republic has continued to enjoy much success in BJSC.

 

 

We here at BJSCToday are hoping it returns, if only to see the spectacle that the SNÁ put on.

Ashton Celebrates as Molly Sandén is DTG

 

This evening the utter legend and Ashtonise saviour, Molly Sandén, qualified to the final of Melodifestivalen to much celebration throughout the nation. A national weekend of celebration has been declared with both AMC and SNÁ radio stations playing Why Am I Crying every 30minutes.

 

The Weekend of Celebration means that Monday will be a day where all shops, schools and other non-essential services (i.e. all bar the emergency services) are closed in a designated hangover and Molly Sandén appreciation day.

You, the Ashtonise public, have spent Thursday through to Sunday voting in four heats and in Andra Chansen yesterday to select the 10 songs for the final of Melodi Grand Prix Áskkorza II. The SNÁ together with the ASC have decided to open the final up to international judging with the Ashtonise public split on the songs. The top 11 of the AshTunes chart is made up of the 10 songs and with less than 20 sales between 2 and 11 the top 11 changes position with almost every download! Look Back I am told still remains comfortably on top of the chart.

Due to popular demand Melodi Grand Prix Áskorza II - Le Grande Finale will now be airing tomorrow night on FVT 1. A spokeswomen for FVT said, we are pleased to be able to add Ashton's national final to our programming in the run up to the semi finals of the BJSC. After Ashton received Farahtyn's 12 points in the final last time, we are excited to to allow the people of Farahtyn to be able to watch and vote in the Ashton final.
