Some fans said they wanted "to show Cheryl how much she is appreciated, since she's been off the grid for the last year. We also want to bring attention to a song that is a fan favourite"!

All of Cheryl's album cycles were all cut too short. 'A Million Lights' in particular was a bit of a waste. We deserved both 'Screw You' and 'Sexy Den A Mutha' as singles. Nice to see the latter got some recognition. ^_^

First album she could have gotten away with 'Happy Hour', ''Rain On Me' or Stand Up' (I know it was rumored to be lined up as 4th single) after 'Parachute'.

I'd have loved 'Amnesia' from 'Messy Little Raindrops' and 'Stars' from 'Only Human'.

I guess the Girls Aloud reunion got in the way of continuing A Million Lights.

Yeh It did, I'm pretty sure she had 'Screw You' lined up for single 3 and then the reunion struck.

It’s a pity she didn’t feel like (or wasn’t given the opportunity to) continue the A Million Lights era in 2013... I think there was another single or two left on that album, or maybe a re-release would have been the way to go about it.

Cutting the Messy Little Raindrops era short, only to end up experiencing the humiliation that came from being sacked by The X Factor USA judging panel, was really unfortunate. It’s understandable why she jumped at the chance to do that, but it ended up being such a mistake. :( Would have been better to put her energies into making that album double platinum, which I’m sure was achievable with another single or two.

Hindsight it a great thing, if USA x factor had worked out it could have been huge for her but it ended up the opposite and on the back of it minimized the album success.

They have a further 42 tracks which are unavailable to listen to in the UK, perhaps unavailable worldwide - even though these are all uploaded to Spotify's database. I find this a bit crazy - I wish Universal would make them all available again. I wonder if they don't even realise?

I'm not 100% sure if I've managed to find all their available or unavailable tracks, but hopefully I've not missed anything!

You're a hero Jay  Thanks so much!

I've always been a bit disappointed with their streaming numbers, as I feel they deserve so much more, especially with some of their biggest hits not hitting a very high mark. And it's a shame quite a few of their songs are spread out between album and single versions.

Also quite surprising non-single On The Metro is so high. And justice for No Good Advice!

They have a further 42 tracks which are unavailable to listen to in the UK, perhaps unavailable worldwide - even though these are all uploaded to Spotify's database. I find this a bit crazy - I wish Universal would make them all available again. I wonder if they don't even realise?

It's also not available over here, so I do wonder if which countries they are available as the streams need to come from somewhere. I've always been surprised about this, seeing as they have uploaded all their b-sides, a bunch of live tracks even but not The Sound Of...

You're most welcome

I wonder if that Pop Music Activism guy could talk to Universal about the missing GA songs? It's so counterproductive to not have them available. :(

They were all available a few years ago, but then a bunch of singles vanished all of a sudden - though some survived the cull, randomly. I looked back at my post from October 2009, and some of the unavailable songs had the same streams counts then, so that suggests that particular songs aren't listenable anywhere in the world. I think TSOGA was taken off just before Ten, and I suppose I can see the logic in that when they had a new CD/Download to sell... but so many years have passed, it would make sense to add it back.

I assume singles like No Good Advice and The Show don't have decent playlisting. :( None of their singles are included on All Out 00s on Spotify which is a pity. Sugababes have About You Now and Push the Button on there, and Atomic Kitten have Whole Again and The Tide Is High and Pure Shores by All Saints is there too. Feels like such an oversight to not include even one Girls Aloud song. <_<

That would indeed be good, as it makes no sense for Universal to not make them available (again). Like you said, I could understand the move around the time of Ten to put the focus on that greatest hits, but now it doesn't make any sense.

Hm, the playlisting is a good point. Quite surprising to not see at least SOTU or Jump getting some playlist exposure as both songs were hits in mainland Europe as well and are quite remembered by the general public. It's quite interesting to look at the streaming numbers of both All Saints and Atomic Kitten compared to Girls Aloud. The song you mentioned, with support, have massive streams but their other songs barely make it onto 5 million streams. Whereas Girls Aloud don't have any big numbers, but have seven songs over the 10 million mark.

You're most welcome

How is there no Girls Aloud song on there!?!?

Agreed that it's an injustice Girls Aloud don't appear on All Out 00s! Definitely seems like an oversight, especially when you point out the other girlband singles on there.

Nice to see 'Long Hot Summer' as high as #12 on their all time list! I guess its couple of appearances on Throwback Thursday have helped.

It has to be an oversight as they are more than worthy of a place, I wonder do the girls make much annually in general from girls Aloud.

I highly doubt it as they have no songwriting credits, I’d imagine their income is non-existent from Girls Aloud.

I think they made quite a bit of money during their peak, but all from their television shows, big tours/personal apperances and sponsorship deals. The music itself probably never made them that much as they indeed barely had any writing credits and have to share between the five of them.
