Chart Mod
  1. The two Amazon Songs charts are quite different from each other: 1 Wham! 2 Bobby Helms 3 Ariana Grande 4 Ed Sheeran & Elton John 5 Slade 6 José Feliciano 7 Brenda Lee 8 Elton John 9 Paul McCartney 10 Kylie Minogue 1 Wham! 2 Mariah Carey 3 The Pogues 4 Brenda Lee 5 Shakin' Stevens 6 Kylie Minogue 7 Bobby Helms 8 Band Aid 9 Elton John 10 Ariana Grande
  2. Heh, the quality of the uploaded performances didn’t strike me as being too good. I mean the close ups look pretty good, but then there’s horrors like this going on with their upscale!
  3. I think if there's really any additional versions coming up, they'll be reactionary releases (i.e. released after Monday midweeks) rather than coming in advance of them.
  4. #16 is lower than I'd anticipated by this point, but let's see what this upcoming week brings! I wouldn't have imagined Kylie racking up all these charting songs in the 2020s and while in her 50s: #56 - Say Something #53 - Magic #95 - Real Groove #8 - Padam Padam #19 - Tension #81 - Hold On to Now #60 - Dance Alone #63 - My Oh My #59 - Lights Camera Action #16 - XMAS That's 10 singles charting in the Top 100 this decade. She managed 12 in the 2010s, which makes me wonder if she can outdo that!
  5. The chart I see with Unlimited: 1 Wham! 2 Mariah Carey 3 Brenda Lee 4 The Pogues 5 Shakin’ Stevens 6 Kylie Minogue 7 HUNTR/X - Golden 8 Bobby Helms 9 Band Aid 10 Olivia Dean - Man I Need
  6. There was a lot of goodwill from the chart forum posters for Padam Padam, as it becoming a Top 10 hit was unexpected & against all odds for Kylie after so many years. I don’t think an Amazon driven success will be seen as something to get behind in the same way. You can always link to this thread in a relevant topic there and then those who are interested will see the campaign here?
  7. Beyoncé feat. The Weeknd - 6 Inch
  8. It's a pity that Spotify's support of Not Tonight Santa dropped off last year. It did great numbers in 2022 and 2023. For instance on 10th December 2022 it got over 80,000 streams worldwide, but this year it only managed 10,000 on that date.
  9. Funny to think that 26 years on from performing it, this YouTube upload is the first time that WOMAN is an official part of their online catalogue, i.e. not just a fan upload. I am really not holding my breath for the demo though.
  10. I guess whatever will be will be, fair play to Olivia if she holds on to the #1! I hope Kylie can manage it though. But I can’t justify that download version for music I already have and no other incentives, sorry Kylie 🤭 Maybe she should have done another couple of cassettes…!
  11. -Jay- posted a post in a topic in UK Charts
One More Sleep sounds incredibly Christmassy to me! The bells, the choir, Motown-esque feel to it, and of course the lyrics. I don't think how its performing at this point has much to do with what it sounds like. As mentioned, it just isn't as strongly supported on Spotify compared to other Christmas songs, and that might be because it's more of a UK specific Christmas hit. The US centric playlists have a lot of dominance. Kelly Clarkson has that additional advantage of being high up on those playlists.
  12. Yeah I really don't think we have any Girls Aloud chart action to look forward to in the next week or two unfortunately. They (the label, the girls) would have needed to do a lot more to spark some public interest.
  13. Oops that’s a lot lower than I was anticipating! Trust Alexa to ease up on the spamming when it’s Kylie’s turn to do it
  14. 75 CDs of XMAS are in stock on Kylie's store. I wonder if they'll allow that to end up being "Sold Out" there though or if they'll have a restock? Or would they rather people be directed to purchasing it from Amazon? By the way, I cancelled and re-ordered my XMAS CD/7" on Amazon. Just like the album, it had my pre-orders showing as "Arriving on Monday". But now that I've re-ordered it says "Arriving on Saturday".
