March 8, 200619 yr hi Mikey, when setting up a New Topic you have an option to 'Click here to manage this topic's poll'. You will then have an option to set up the poll :)

March 8, 200619 yr lol no problem. I will be writing some how to's over the weekend for this sort of things. Alot has changed with the upgrade.
March 15, 200619 yr I still can't do these... I do the title, content and questions but nothing happens... is there another thing I have to do?
March 15, 200619 yr when you making a new topic just click 'Click here to manage this topic's poll'. Then fill out the details. It will then show as a poll.
March 21, 200619 yr when you making a new topic just click 'Click here to manage this topic's poll'. Then fill out the details. It will then show as a poll. I tried this today, and in the preview it looked ok but when I posted it the poll did not appear
March 21, 200619 yr hi brian. Have you filled all poll fields like this: http://www.buzzjack.com/images/post_images/pic-210306.gif You shoudnt see the poll in the preview although you have to make sure that the poll section of the 'Add Topic' is filled in :)
March 21, 200619 yr I might have missed the box called poll content, and then i think i clicked on "close poll form" would that have mucked it up
March 21, 200619 yr I might have missed the box called poll content, and then i think i clicked on "close poll form" would that have mucked it up yeah thats it. Close Poll Form effectively deletes the poll. When I get around to this I will write up a how-to :)

March 23, 200619 yr I've created a few polls, but I found on two occasions, they didn't create. Like you put in the questions and selections, hit submit and the poll part has gone away. I'm not sure if it's a bug or I miss something. I've noticed there are several people who have had problems creating polls, so some testing is required to ensure is human error and not a software error.
March 23, 200619 yr Seems there is no way to edit a poll after you've created it, unless your a mod in it's area.
March 23, 200619 yr Seems there is no way to edit a poll after you've created it, unless your a mod in it's area. i havent tested this but you should beable to by doing a 'Full Edit' on the first post (as long as it was you who posted the poll).
March 23, 200619 yr i havent tested this but you should beable to by doing a 'Full Edit' on the first post (as long as it was you who posted the poll). Full edit only allows you to edit the text of your post, no ability to change any of the poll information is available unless your a mod in the area.
March 23, 200619 yr hmm this must be a feature then... not a very good one, I might recode it if I have time in a far distant future !
March 24, 200619 yr hmm this must be a feature then... not a very good one, I might recode it if I have time in a far distant future ! Did occur to me this maybe it's affecting Firefox only, however. It's a 'feature' in both Firefox and IE.
March 24, 200619 yr I think the basis behind it is that it would allow members to abuse the system by changing the options after the poll had been voted in. Still should be an option to turn it off or at least set a time limit for not allowing members to edit polls.
