Right-oh, Participators in the BuzzJack Song Contest will already be aware of Ms. Berger, winner of BJSC 9 with 'Will you Remember Me Tomorrow?' but having just got my hands on her second album 'Pretty Scary Silver Fairy' I feel some of you need to be educated about this amazing singer. So I shall now handover to wikipedia:

 

Margaret Berger (born October 11, 1985 in Trondheim) is a Norwegian singer who placed second on the second season of Norwegian Idol. She currently lives in Trondheim.

 

Margaret received Wild Card into the Finals from Anneli Drecker after not receiving a place in the final during the semifinals. However, she quickly became one of the most popular singers in the series and went all the way to the final two alongside eventual winner Kjartan Salvesen.

 

After Idol, she released her first album Chameleon which was successful on the Norwegian Charts, reaching the Number 4 position. She won "Spellemannsprisen" (Norwegian equivalent to a Grammy) for best music video (for "Lifetime guarantee") in 2005. In 2006, she released her second Album, Pretty Scary Silver Fairy.

 

According to Margaret's myspace new material is set to be released imminently which will (hopefully) propel her to international stardom! For now though I've put together a short preview of her second album ^_^

The album = TERRIBLE. It really is awful, WYRMT being the ONLY good song it features

I am actually gutted she will not release WYRMT over here as i think it could be quite big!

WYRMT is an absolute anthem, but I've been put off getting the album...for now :o

Unfortunately I couldn't find anywhere which actually sold the album at all so I embarked on a long search of music forums and download sites which has literally taken me weeks before eventually finding this Polish site which has had it uploaded:

I must say when I heard some previews of the songs on last.fm I was a little disappointed but when listened to in full once I fell in love. My favorites from the album are of course WYRMT along with Robot Song, I'm Gonna Stay After Summer and Have You Never Ever?
