I know it means very little, but this was at #24 on the Big Top 40 today. I think it's quite nicely sung, and she looks really good in the advert. Feels like a soft way in to the new album, though obviously Confessions #2 will not be this kind of music

Really? I think Jade would do whatever was necessary to keep the longevity of the era. If Church had taken off in the New Year, she would have continued her tireless work-horse attitude, I'm sure.

That they murdered Reece can be fully forgiven by Fiona being banished. She really started to annoy me from the second she was revealed as the Secret Traitor. The longevity of the album (not just 3 - out, but serveral weeks Top 100) surely was helped by the number of singles off it? Biggest issue with it was Fantasy as single 2, which just wasn't it (still my least fave of the singles). Forget U For Now would have been a better follow-up. Church is the best thing she's done. Throwing it away with a December release when Christmas songs clog up the charts was a ridiculous idea. The Encore could have waited for January as well.

Although Bucks Fizz were my fave band in the 80s, and I do have a love for a bit of Mind Up, Bardo's One Step Further is brilliant and I still listen to it now. I also love the performance they did for it. Deserved to do better than it did at Eurovision, but glad it was a decent sized hit.

When they played it on R1 the other day, Greg James said people were using it on TikTok to accompany their "best bits" of Stranger Things. So I guess it's more that it's just gone viral again?
