That’s right so that was super unlucky! A Hero’s Death was also blocked from #1 when there was a CD dump for Taylor’s folklore

Fontaines unsurprisingly clearing the whole first week of Romance already 👏 happy they should be back on top after stalling at #2 with that album.

The Tears For Fears, Michael Jackson, Pink Floyd and George Michael re-entries in the album chart are due to National Album Day vinyl pressings if anyone was curious

They definitely played the Maroon 5 original on the chart show when Precision Tunes went top 10!

The Precision Tunes version of 'Payphone' went all the way to #9 what a time to be alive *_*

Congrats DaTilt on your victory 🥳 I'm in two minds about my own performance because... my poor brave top 5 placement on the leaderboard! But snatching top 15 at the last second in this round was a bit unexpected after languishing in the bottom 2 for so long, so that's something at least Thanks Nine for another great job at hosting! I may not have the knack yet but I appreciated the fresh concept.

Switching to Eve now

'expectations' is still #3 combined on Spotify but now behind 'Stop The Wedding!' at #2 instead of 'Rein Me In'! Tate back up to #4 and Zach/Lana have risen to #13 Fontaines' top three tracks are now: 'Marianne' (#15), 'Demolition' (#21) and 'Japan' (#25) with 'Where Is Gone?' just 522 streams behind arghhhh

Jumping on the Hoff now I'm afraid

💞

It's stressing me out that I'm so unremarkable at this quiz Interesting that only 3 of us went for Take That on 'BuzzJack' when they have an artist forum!

I think Avicii being involved with 'Lovers On The Sun' passed me by at the time but that makes so much sense! I don't mind that one, the Morricone influence in that Spaghetti Western guitar twang appeals to me as a fan of his. I loved 'Am I Wrong' at the time but don't really revisit it much now. It does still stand out as quite refreshing amongst this list though. 'Sing' is another one I quite liked at the time, especially for Pharrell's involvement, but the falsetto chorus does grate on me a bit now. Can definitely hear the JT influence, 'Like I Love You' is a particularly good shout.

Yes well done John for that 39 score on Friday! today's game: Round 1: 36 (didn't get: Deacon Blue) Round 2: 27 (didn't get: Sex Pistols, Lindisfarne, Average White Band) 3-in-10: 3 (Evergreen, Changes, Jealousy)

Errrrrr well let's hope I can turn this around in the second half 😳

How fascinating that 'control' was either top marks or bust for me!
