Hey James! Who says 3 weeks is my standard? Alex Warren spent 7 weeks at #1 with 'Bloodline' in the summer, with Sombr and Jade doing 5 weeks apiece directly before him! So take that! It's a great song but what's so great about the video? It's literally just him sitting around in an empty pub and then singing the song with a backing band. Couldn't get much more of a nondescript video.

Don't know why I didn't think of Foster The People for this, some of their flops have been just as good as 'Pumped Up Kicks'!

Echoing the love for the first two albums, and in particular all the singles from them, which I think were perfectly picked. 'Smile' and 'LDN' still sound great, especially in the summer. 'Alfie' is a very under-rated single, her witty lyricism really shines through on that. 'Not Fair' probably remains my favourite Lily Allen single. 'Somewhere Only We Know' seems to be quite divisive on Buzzjack but I really like it.

'Birds Of A Feather' has no business being that high up in the YTD list given that it already finished at #6 last year. I wish people would move on from songs quicker! Also I didn't realise 'Back To Friends' would end up higher than 'Undressed', I thought it would be the other way round. #19 seems very low for 'Golden' at this stage, I wonder if it will even end up top 10 by the end of the year?

It's really only the video for 'Stay' that's Halloweeny, I don't see how the song itself is? Also maybe I'm missing something but what's 'Sweet Dreams' by Eurythmics got to do with Halloween? I haven't seen the video, is it that?

Anyone know the DJs' tracks of the week for this week? Also, I'm away rn and flying back to the UK on Friday morning - it's an 8 hour flight which takes off at 5.40am UK time, so I don't think the playlist will be available on the website that early. If anyone fancies posting the playlist once it's up feel free, otherwise I'll do so on Friday evening.
