Titled ‘One Of Us’, the song was written and performed by the McFly frontman for the new production of Paddington The Musical which is currently previewing at the Savoy Theatre in London. Released today (Friday November 28) via Decca, it arrives with a new music video that sees the singer and Paddington Bear himself at the Paddington Station in London. In the musical, it is sung by the character of Mrs Brown when Paddington goes missing, and has lyrics that centre on community and togetherness. With the single release, the song is now in the running to reach the Christmas Number One spot on the charts, and a spokesperson for William Hill says it has a 6/1 chance of reaching peak position. The full album, ‘Paddington The Musical – Original Cast Recording’ will be released in March 2026, and have collectible vinyl variants arriving in May. It features the complete West End cast, and full orchestra at Abbey Road Studios.
