I must say I wasn't expecting that name when I clicked on this thread!

Just caught up on this now - a fantastic result! Really happy for both of them, particularly given the difficulties they both faced in the individual events.

A month or so ago I stumbled across You Can't Know Me by Strip Down on a YouTube recommendations list and thought 'that looks vaguely familiar' - turns out I sent it to BJSC Looking through my old entries list, the only song I don't recall in the slightest is 'Movement' by The Whip, although I'm sure it would come back to me if I heard it.

Just seen Niall Treacy disqualified in the final - not in a medal position so thankfully no repeats of the Elise Christie sagas from years past, but he did well to even make the final in that event.

Nice to see Janine Flock finally get her gold in the women's skeleton after missing out the last two Olympics! Some good performances for Team GB as well, not able to get a medal unfortunately but three in the Top 10 is a good result.

Nice to see Braathen take the win there, a little bit of history with South America's first ever medal! Even if he is actually Norwegian Nice to see Joan Verdu of Andorra make it into the Top 10 as well - he actually had the fastest second run but his late start number in the first run probably put him out of the running for the medals.

Finally, a medal! not watched the coverage of this yet but a bit of a relief for the team to not be going home with nothing.

Yeah absolutely - we weren't sure if she was going to even start the second run and then she pulls that out of the bag in the third run! Just watched both the men's and women's Snowboard Cross - both incredibly tight as always and neither went to script! Haemmerle getting a second Olympic gold whilst the top seed finished fourth was a real spectacle, and Josie Baff coming out of nowhere (the 17th-seeded rider ) was pretty spectacular as well.
